"Hotel is in a great location, lakes are beautiful but the rooms could do with an upgrade and I would’ve expected some nice touches like moisturiser etc like most hotels do. "

"The pool area was nice and clean and the room was large and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and the food in the restaurant was really nice and reasonably priced. A good distance from the costwolds makes a nice base. Parking is cheap and plentiful. A good stay. Would recommend."

"I visit Gloucester fairly regularly with work and will stay here 9 out of 10 trips. Its 5 minutes drive away from the center on Gloucester. It has plenty of amenities within 5 minutes walk and the canal is only a 10 minute walk away. The place itself has a nice feel to it, good food and clean rooms, ample parking. It ticks a lot of boxes"

"Only stayed for one night. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was spacious with a comfortable bed, double wardrobe with plenty storage if staying longer. The bar area had a warm cosy atmosphere, there was a singer on who was very good. Would stay here again."

"If hosting an event or wedding this place is probably fine but when you are a tourist it is miles from everything. This hotel is completely rural, you cannot walk to any pubs or restaurants, the town is a 12-15 drive. Staff are great, zero complaints. It is a bar area amd restaurant but the bar lacks charm and atmosphere. Plenty of parking. The rooms are fine but dated and the hotel does not have a lift. If you are planning to tour the general area as a tourist i recommend something closer to town where there is more to do around you"
