Maids Quarters; private beach

This simple and quiet home is behind a Victorian mansion and was used as the Maid's quarters to house staff. It's now a cozy vacation home to get away and take advantage of the 55-acre rambling estate, with 2 sandy beaches, meadows, forest, marsh grass, a rocky granite shoreline, a granite swimming pier, and even a lily pond.
You have access to the beaches, shared with other families living in this private compound.
The deck looks out to Ipswich Bay, providing a great outdoor dining space.

We really enjoyed the ocean view, kayaking on the private beach and playing tennis. Kids enjoyed the playground, playing on the beach and running around on the grass.

This property was amazing! The view was beautiful and it had everything we needed to relax and get away. It's close to the train station if you want to go to the big city. Or you can just enjoy the history of the town.
