Jackson inn was absolutely disgusting. We arrived staff was very unprofessional. When we went to the room and it's smelled like mould and cigarette smoke. Rust was on the wall from the air conditioning unit. And the room was so dirty. We asked for our money back because the pictures on Expedia are not what the hotel is like in real life. Hotel should be closed down due to health and safety. We had to leave and book another place and now out off pocket over 2000 dollar.

Shower was very low pressure and handle kept coming off. Floor was crawling with ants overnight, we were downgraded to a dingy, outdated room with no hot tub, as the room we paid for has the spa 'out of order'. Air con light very bright when trying to sleep. Lucky it was cheap, will not be returning.

Jacksons have always been a reliable good place to stay that is excellent value for money. Every time we go to Adelaide we try to stay there. It's Good. 10 / 10

Very disappointing
The property was very old and dirty, the carpets were old and absolutely filthy. It was just disgusting, I know the rates were reasonable but they need to really upgrade it.

I had hoped that at the very least the pictures provided for this motel on the website when booking gave an accurate representation of what I was to expect upon arrival. I was also very enthused by the idea of a swim in the motel pool, so much so, that I decided to make a second booking for the following night. I checked into the motel, and the guy at reception was very accommodating and allowed us to remain in the same room for the duration so that we didn’t have to lug our belongings from one room to another. The key was handed over and we made our way to our assigned room. As I opened the door, A wall of wet mouldy carpet smell hit my face, too unpleasant to bear. The room resembled something I would imagine to be used for ladies of the night- a bed in the corner and not much else. I assume the walls were once white, but over time had become somewhat of a fingerprint mural created by the comings and goings of past guests who dared stay. I stood in the room in silence (very out of character for me as I tend to never shut up) as my partner checked out the bathroom, perhaps to further confirm the fear which had now begun to set in as we came to the realisation that $140 bought us a neglected and unkept suite. We quickly decided that this wasn’t the room for us and asked the guy at reception for a refund, which he gave to us immediately, however, the second night was non-refundable but we were happy be upgraded to another room with a spa, a nicer room without the smell

My mother and I absolutely adored the place and staff. It was quaint, quiet and soo close to everything either by walking or driving 5-minutes down the road. Our room was big enough for the two of us to still move around enough. The only suggestion we have is to look into getting some gardening done and also look at some of the window ledges, we noticed a few were beginning to come apart, not a big issue as of yet however. Our overall stay was amazing, thank you soo much and we will definitely be back!

Sadly when we arrived, the room we were originally put in was very dirty. We approached staff regarding this matter and they put us in to a new room. The new room was much cleaner and the staff were lovely. We received a small gift for having to move rooms which was lovely. The bed was not very comfortable though.

Floor was uneven and dirty. There was holes in the bathroom door and walls & the sink was dirty. I had to lean on the main door when using the key to actually get into the room and once inside I had to slam and lean on the door once again to try lock it. There was no designated car park so I had to park in whatever park I could find & I actually felt uncomfortable about the security of my car with the amount of ‘permanent’ residence at the motel. I ordered a continental breakfast and I received two pieces of frozen bread, two muesli bars, a jelly, a Prima and a small milk. I am not sure what the milk was for - was I supposed to get a cereal too? $9 for frozen bread, 2 bars and a jelly - hmmm.

By no means is it a luxury hotel, but it’s good for someone on a budget. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Location is good. Rooms are acceptable for the price. Will stay again.
