The lady in the front office was amazing and so helpful with local info. The cleaner was lovely and friendly too. I enjoyed the decor of heritage red and white and the beds were super comfy. I think the shower was my favourite. Strong water pressure, it was like having a massage. For me and my teenage son the only thing bad to say was for our liking it was a little small. It did have everything you could need though, microwave, aircon, tv, small fridge but freezer room was bigger than most motels. Short walk to great chinese food.

Convenient location, room was clean, a little smaller than it looked in the photos, but it still had all the facilities. The bathroom needs renovation, there was old damage to the walls, but the shower tiles were clean as was the grout.

Better than expected.
A very good stay. Clean, comfortable, quiet. The bed was very good. Slightly less stiff than we like but Okay. The water kettle went bad as we were using it and got a prompt new replacement.

The toilet was not cleaned before we arrived and there were cobwebs in the bathroom and there is just no space in the rooms at all. I got my jeans nipped by the owners small dog on arrival too. It’s just getting very run down. It will be my last visit.

We liked our spacious, very clean room. Friendly, approachable staff, location to town and no highway noise. This was our second 3 day stay at Amber and we will book again.

Staff were lovely, great location. The bed was amazing! The only criticism is that bathroom tiles need a thorough bleaching.

Thank you for your feedback. I believe the tiles are overdue for replacement. As new owners we scheduled renovating the bathrooms over the next 12 months.

1. Book directly with the motel if you want to use your stay NSW voucher. 2. No electric blankets even though advertising said these were available in all rooms. 3. Budget double room is tiny. 4. Bathroom original early 1970s. 5. The great reviews for the owner from previous posts are no longer relevant because it has changed hands. 6. Motel is very close to town centre. 7. Room was very clean. 8. Room had microwave, toaster, electric jug, TV, fridge, crockery and cutlery. 9.Bed not very comfortable. 10. We would not stay there again.

Great location, walking distance to everything. A little bit dated, but was mostly very clean (table didn’t seem to have been been wiped down) and did the job perfectly for me, (male travelling alone). Would stay there again.
