Everything about this hotel was excellent. We were so pleased to have chosen this place to stay for our week of bicycling in Girona. The staff was very accommodating, the room was large and very clean, and we even had a secure room to store our bikes. The location is perfect for getting around after cycling to eat and shop. Room was spotless, and one of the best appointed rooms we've had in Europe. Lots of room and great in-room amenities. Location is perfect for exploring Girona, with easy access to the old town. I researched all the hotels of Girona before my trip and wasn’t sure whether or not to pick Nord 1901 as the reviews were quite mixed, but I’m really pleased I did. The best thing about the hotel is the location, which is ideal for exploring the most interesting and beautiful parts of the city. The hotel is just round the corner from the bridge to the old town, next to a lovely square and a bustling shopping street. Yet it was still very quiet at night. The room was huge, almost to the point of feeling a bit bare! The bed was comfortable and I slept deeply on both nights of my stay. Shower pressure was spot on. Staff were helpful and polite. Overall, the hotel is a little old fashioned in style but at this price point, for the size of the room and the hotel location, it’s a really good deal.
