"My preferred stay during business trips to our Durban office and as usual the reception and stay was excellent "

"This old-fashioned guest house is a lovely place to stay in the central Durban area. We really appreciated the ease of getting around -- easy access to many good things. The owners are friendly, and the staff are outstanding. We enjoyed our stay very much."

"The rooms were clean, lots of space, quiet, and the location is wonderful sitting in the hills in Westville."

"Beautiful establishment and friendly host. Our garden cottage was a treat!"

"The service was amazing and the accommodations were spacious. It’s centrally located in a safe area and easy to get around. Very popular, so make sure to book in advance "

"It seemed the property was not ready for guests. The rooms and shelves were not very clean. The sink leaked and the bath drainage took a long time to drain. The stoves for cooking did not have knobs for turning it on. You could hardly see with the light in the bathroom when we arrived. The sofa was torn and squeaked. Linen & towels did not look fresh & clean (very old)."

"Great hospitality"

"Good bed and cleaned daily. Disappointing bathroom. (Water pressure very low, condition poor) "

"This was a fantastic find. So happy we decided to stay here. Excellent accommodation and wonderful host. Could not ask for better. Highly recommend if you are in the area. "
