"We absolutely loved staying at the Patmos Eye Hotel! It’s an easy walk into town. Vicky was fantastic and very attentive! Our room was spacious and very nice. We had a beautiful view of the bay and our breakfast on our balcony was wonderful! We will definitely be back to this very special place!"

Its in a quieter area just a few minute walk from a scenic bay that has a few restaurants as well. Youre best off having transportation to get around the island (which is incredibly beautiful). "Asteri hotel is a welcoming family-run hotel which is located 10-15 on foot from the centre of Scala. The owners are there to accommodate your needs and make you feel at home. The room was spacious and the balcony had a spectacular view towards Chita and the castle. The garden looked like a small paradise. The hotel was clean and well maintained although the room could be renovated to include more modern amenities. They gave us free breakfast which was so kind of them, however there were not many options, especially for vegan travellers like me. Overall it was a great stay and I’d be happy to return!"
