"We stayed 3 nights in Ghent and really enjoyed the city and the stay at the hotel. I don't know if it was the level of room we booked or if the level of service was the same for all but if you skipped having your room serviced they would leave coupons for free beer or wine in the hotel bar. Thought that was a great idea. We also were not expecting the turndown service but each night when we got back to the room, slippers were laid out, bed was turned down, there was a bottle of water and a glass on each night stand and chocolates on the bed. The hotel is really nice as was all the staff and the location is perfect. Our expectations were exceeded and this is most definitely the hotel I will book next time we get to Ghent."

"Check in, staff, breakfast and room were excellent. Even the parking was great and convenient.....once we had found it. No fault of the hotel because the street in front of the hotel is closed for construction and our GPS wasn't aware of that."

"Amazing hotel in a prime location. A wonderful building, very charming and lots of character. Right on the water with great views. Room was furnished elegantly in the hotel style and all the little extras and attention to detail enhanced the experience. The breakfast was very good. The Cobbler bar was also great and a lovely way to end the evening, sitting by the window looking out on the historic surrounding buildings. Also midday check out is always good."

"The location is close to tourist sites but far enough to be quiet. As a first time visitor, I found the staff very helpful in locating trams and restaurants. There is an on site restaurant and breakfast available. I also appreciated the kitchenette !"
