Good but ATTENTION
No hot water for bathing and no hot water kettle. There is a simple coffee maker so remember to bring your coffee powder and paper filters. Otherwise appartement is completely furnished. Attention, we didn’t have hot water to bath in the evening so remember to verify with the reception before you enter appartement. Our gate code didn’t work so it was abit complicated to re-enter in the evenings. Otherwise a lovely place for big families and easily accessible on the autoroute. It was clean and friendly staff. Quality of some furnitures needs replenishing.

This was far better than I had expected. We had a two bedroom apartment that we could have lived in for a month easily. We were only needing it for two nights though. Just what we needed.

We’ve stayed here for many journeys to and from Spain . The property suits are family requirements . Spacious accommodation for 5 , cooking facilities, close petrol and supermarket and just off main motorway. The property is clean and comfortable but could now do with slight refurbishment. Recommended

Basic motel for stopover
Quick stop over on way to south of France. Wasnt expecting much but we had our 2 children with us and second bed not made up. No linen available and sofa bed was stained. No air conditioning either. Breakfast was sparse, not enough bowls/plates for people, tables not clean. Pool was so small we didn't bother having a dip.

Hotel is good for an overnight stay while in a road trip. Has many small apartment houses. We stayed in a room for 4 which has 2 floors and 2 separate bedrooms.

Great place to stay. Could do with a little TLC - we found a creaked basin and the oven knob wasn’t working. Still great value and ideal for families for an overnight stop.

A lovely welcome in Gerzat!
The overall experience was very good and the receptionist was charming, The accommodations was excellent, apart from the bathroom, and in particular, the shower. It was impossible to maintain an even temperature. It was either hot or cold. The shower head would not stay on its hook. However, we would stay again and hope that this was an unfortunate oversight. Facilities were excellent and the pool very welcome after the journey.

Decent overnight stop, very close to the motorway. Reasonably priced spacious apartments with terraces. It would be good if the apartments had air conditioning as it is very hot in this part of France during August. Good value and would stay again.

Half way stop. Calais to the South of France.
Perfect for a nice stop, clean, comfortable, easy to find! swimming pool isn't heated but we were there in sunny days and once you're in it was fine!

Good stopover hotel near motorway and city
I chose this hotel as a stopover for a holiday journey to the south of France. A family of four we needed low cost, a car park, close to the city and comfort. This hotel is very near the motorway so easy to get to and then drive on. Cost was low as this hotel is a chalet / apartment style with catering facilities. So we had one appartment. OK as there is an upstairs bedroom. However, the accommodation is quite basic is if you want luxury this isn't for you. A bit far from the city centre. We drove but you could go by train. Very nice city. You could stay here for longer. There is a smallish swimming pool and lots of space in the complex. A downside in our apartment was only one toilet which was downstairs. The bathroom was upstairs so for a family of four that wasn't great. Ok for one night but longer would be a problem.

A rather nice apartment with everything provided. Strange set-up with the bathroom as the bath and basin were upstairs but the toilet downstairs with nowhere to wash your hands except in the kitchen sink which was not very hygienic.. The pool was full of cloudy green water and did not look as if it had been in use for some time. Should have informed guests of this before they arrived.

Larger than expected
We chose this hotel after reading some reviews on Expedia. 2 adults and 2 boys (11 and 13). We got lost after a 9 hour drive, tired and fed up we called the hotel. What a fantastic response we had, still struggling to find the hotel, due to not really knowing where we were, the manager asked us if we could see an Aldi and to wait in the car park. 10 minutes later she turned up and we followed her to our much needed resting place. Brilliant service, easy to book in and the 1 bed apartment exceeded our expectations. Large bedroom with more than enough room for my wife to practice her yoga and the boys loved hiding in the huge wardrobe. The living area had a good size table and a sofa bed, the kitchen section was clean and well equipped with a dishwasher and they even supplied washing up liq. and tablet for the dishwasher. Good location close to the main route and although we didn't venture to Clermont we did get to see a fair bit of it on our wandering car journey and it appeared to have all the usual facilities you would expect. We will be visiting this hotel again!

We booked a room for the night travelling from the south back to Calais, surprisingly this accommodation was more like a holiday apartment than a hotel room, with 2 floors, complete kitchen, 2 bedrooms etc. The bathroom was modern and very clean. We all agreed it was a shame we couldn't stay longer than one night. Making use of the kitchen to cook breakfast / prepare lunch would save a fortune on the French service station prices.

Great hotel for a stopover as very close to motorway but still very quiet. Really clean and comfortable and brilliant for kids to let off steam after a long journey in the pool or running around in the safe and secure grounds. My children wanted to know why we weren't staying there longer! Would work very well for a few days stay as well.

Ideal stop close to motorway
The accommodation was excellent not what we were expecting for a motorway stop off on the way down to France! It was a mini home clean tidy and had a nice resturant within walking distance...great for tired kids! Although close to the motorway literally we could not hear any traffic noise so do not be put off by its location. We had a selection of breakfast choice in the morning and the children were able to use the pool before we set off on part 2 of our journey to the South of France...I have never really written reviews but when reading the ones for this place they didn't inspire me with confidence that it would be any good so I wanted to give you an up to date review.

Name of hotel was changed and not on the sign
We had booked two nights but left a day early because this place was underwhelming. We arrived late in the staff's shift (they only stay till 6pm on Sat) so we were left with no ability to reconcil important questions about the door locks, phone service, etc. Plus the pool was out of commission. I tried to get money back for the second night but both the local hotel and your service personnel said the other was the only one able to give a refund. So that left me questioning both their understanding your agreements, and left me paying for two rooms I did not occupy and felt I tried to cancel in a fair way.

A superb place for a break, stopover or gathering!
We needed somewhere to stay while visiting a friend in Clermont-Ferrand for three nights. This was ideal. Comfortably seating, and sleeping six adults the house provided all the facilities we could need. The location was great and the whole complex looked like it was a much more expensive place than it was (often it is the other way around!!). The kitchen facilities were great, the beds, sheets and bathroom clean and tidy. We were all very satisfied with what was a bargain price for good quality accommodation. The staff were very helpful and always smiled (and spoke good english which is always a bonus). I would thoroughly reccomend this to anyone. The only drawback we could find was the distance from the city centre of Clermont-Ferrand but at about 6 miles it was more than ok to have such a nice place to stay. Many thanks.

stayed here on our overnight stop en route from spain to england, its the first time we have stayed here and found it to be very nice and clean and just moments from the motorway, drove past it at first as still has the old name (citea) on the entrance, and only found it to be the right place when i called at the reception to see if they knew where the adagio access was, reception very friendly and the units were spacious and clean.

We found the apartment to be modern spacious and clean, was easy to find from motorway. Local town of for restaurants etc, this place only does breakfast. Internet access is available A good stop over point for the journey down to the south of France from Calais.

THEY CLOSE AT SIX PM SO CALL AHEAD AND GET INSTRUCTION ON HOW TO GET IN AND GET YOUR KEYS! IF IT WASN'T FOR THE CAR RENTAL AGENT CALLING TO GET DIRECTIONS AND FINDING OUT THAT INFORMATION WE WOULD GOT THERE AT 11 PM WITH NO PLACE TO GO.

Great place for a family stop over
For those of you with more than 2.4 children this place is the answer to your prayers. If you are heading to south west France or to Spain a stop here is ideal. The facilities are very good with three good size bedrooms, a large lounge with flat screen TV (albeit only one English language channel)and a modestly equipped kitchenette. There is no A/C but the rooms are cool. Only downside is a lack of local restaurant facilities. We will use Gerzat again.
