This was our family’s first trip out to Colorado and this property was perfect. Our group was 3 adults and 2 teenagers. The property had everything we needed, beds were very comfortable and the house is clean .The views from the house are breathtaking, we even got to see a mama moose and her calf at the lake! We took daily walks up to the glacier and did the white water rafting in town, which was a lot of fun. We would definitely stay here again! It had everything we needed with plenty of space for everyone to spread out! We had the best time and it was very relaxing. If I were going to have anything negative, more light would be good and plenty of matches/lighters to light the fire place. Those are very miniscule compared to the great things the home had to offer. Overall, we loved it and would definitely stay again. ##### Terra P. The hike to St. Mary's Glacier was a workout but the payoff was amazing! The deck was enormous and the view of the lake was peaceful and gorgeous. It was a long drive up and down the mountain but we knew that and planned activities accordingly. We could not find a broom or mop for the floors, and there was no dish rag for wiping down counters and the table when we finished cooking and eating. Paper towels don't do a sufficient job. I felt the only downfall was communication with the host. Response time to emails was lacking (usually 24 hours ... too long) and not all questions were answered. The host went above before and throughout our stay to ensure our complete satisfaction. Traveling with young children, and a snow storm brings it challenges and Karen went above and beyond to ensure the entire stay went without flaw.
