It is situated just beside the sightseeing area of Georgetown but in a quiet sidelane to avoid traffic. The personal es very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. Surprisingly, we found available family room for 3 , and even had a pull out bed for the 4th member. It is very near to places where we could do shopping and run errands. The room is really cosy and comfortable. The staff was most helpful and accommodating. We took an upstairs room but in retrospect would take a ground floor one the next time, as hot air rises and the a/c took a while to cool down the room, and the view from the upper floor wasn’t particularly interesting. Spices Hotel is a beautiful little place to stay in GeorgeTown. It’s in a historic building full of charm and character and the staff are really helpful.
