Very clean rooms and comfortable. A full size mirror would help guests a lot, nothing major but just a recommendation. Everything went smoothly and cozy. ##### Syed Stayed 2 nights in Sep 2025 ### 2/10 Terrible #### Kelvin 14 Sept 2025 Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities 1) the bathroom drainage constantly smell of urine, so strong that even if after shower the smell still lingers. We had to close the toilet door to ensure the smell is contained in there. Im pretty sure changing of room doesnt help as its due to old piping issues. 2) Ants. You simply can't leave food lying around for it will very quickly invite ants. Ants in the toilet, tv console, table beside your bed. It's terrible. 3) no sound proofing to speak of, the room facing the main road has traffic noise that will keep you up all night. 4) Penang is a nice place for food but this hotel is a complete turn off for the price you are paying and the quality you get. I will never stay here or any hotel under the same group. ##### Kelvin Stayed 4 nights in Sep 2025 ### 4/10 Poor #### YC 16 Dec 2018 Disliked: Room comfort Overall, the rooms were good however our stay was marred by the fact that one of our room (no 69) was right next to a pub/karaoke. Hence, we couldn't sleep very well till after 3am given the poor sound proofing. It really spoilt our holiday mood. The unit should not have been put up for booking or reserved for guests with families. It only fits people who stay up late. I'm disappointed that the mgt was not thoughtful enough to make the right arrangement or even cancel our booking in a courteous and responsible manner instead of just telling me that all rooms are booked and the sound will usually stopped after 3am etc....etc I'm afraid this speaks a lot on their professionalism in hospitality.
