We were put up in an isolated building far away from the main building .The two rooms we got were on different floors. Next day our keys stopped working , our phones did not work , the building was so outdated that even to enter the room we had to go through an outdated elevator and an open area . There was no one i could talk to when our keys stopped working and there was no way to contact the main building as our room phones were broken(both the rooms) . i called the office through my phone and no one picked up. We had the worst experience and complained to the main office the next day . They then moved us to a new building on the second day of our stay . Why were we put in such a bad building and room when we are paying more than 1300 dollars for our stay . There are no non slip shower or tub floors (or stickers that accomplish the same thing), the toilets are so low that I honestly think you bought them on sale at a preschool closure. The hand rails into the spas were loose and swung around when you gripped them. There were broken and missing tiles surrounding the pool and spas that were a hazard. None of the piping hot water outlets into the pool or spas are marked or painted. They blend in totally as they’re the same color as the walls. We literally watched a three year old child receive second degree burns when he inadvertently waded by one of them. He screamed for twenty minutes and the staff were like “oh well, it’s a hot spring!” This was ridiculous! Dinner was excellent, but a 3 1/2 hour ordeal. The dining room was overbooked, there were only 2 servers working the floor, and we waited 20 minutes for every request: drink menu after we were seated…water refill…ordering…desert…waiting for our check…it was INTERMINABLE!! In addition, there was a very large party that was allowed to drunkenly sing throughout their dinner while staff did nothing to shut them up. Despite the cleanliness , the friendliness of staff and the gorgeous views, there is a definite sense of neglect and lack of consideration by management and/or owners for their customers safety and well being.
