This unit was much cleaner and “homier” than past units. Everything down to battery candles on balcony to great smelling soaps were thought of. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. The location is within walking distance to everything we wished to do in town. The only time we were in our car was to go to Pigeon Forge or picnic in the mountains. Highway 441 was closed going to our normal picnic spot so we went to Metcalfe Bottoms. A great find! I can’t say enough about the hosts. Very responsive to questions. They even checked on us midweek. My husband and I were here for a long weekend getaway for our anniversary. One of the things that matters most to us is the cleanliness of the accommodations, and this cabin was the cleanest place we've ever stayed in our lives! It was the perfect layout and adorably decorated. The location was right downtown by the Cherokee Grill. It is up a short but very steep hill. However, there is an elevator by the pool area that takes you down a level so you can avoid the hill altogether. The checkout instructions are simple and easy to follow. We walked everywhere, and it was amazing not to have to deal with the busy traffic. The only complaint was the elevator that takes you to the street level was broken and we had to walk down the hill and back up, but it wasn't bad at all.
