We had a blast staying in the cabin. Loved the board games, the pool table and the hot tub! The kitchen was set up very nicely, too! Was sad to leave. Highly recommend!
House was great. The bed in the master bedroom was one of the most comfortable I’ve had the n a rental (hotel or VRBO/ABnB). We enjoyed being out out of the Gatlinburg noise in a mountain forest
This cabin was very clean. It had everything we needed. It is a very quiet location, but still close to everything - and you don’t have to drive up the steep mountainside. Cabin has lots of space. Each floor is arranged for maximum comfort. (Steps are not steep.) The beds are all comfortable. Owner was fast to respond to questions. We will definitely book this cabin again.
The driveway and drive to the house is not for elderly or inexperienced drivers and it is steep and windy and the driveway spots are on a steep incline. Hold your door when you get out of the car. Lol. Beautiful house very comfortable and perfect for the woods. The floors and steps were dirty and a used food container next to the fridge. We swept and picked up the gross food container. I’m sure a talk to the cleaning crew could clear that up no worries for the next guests. We could not get the fireplace to fully ignite but didn’t have time to call the owners to fix it. Could have been user error. Overall an amazing time in the mountains and we are so glad to have a beautiful spacious home for the weekend.
Super clean bright airy cabin! Our two kids enjoyed every minute of their stay. That’s more comfortable and everything was supplied that we needed.
Thanks for a great trip!
This has to be the nicest place I’ve ever stayed very clean and organized and was very well stocked with all the dishes and cooking utensils you could need I definitely want to come back
This was our first time using VRBO and I could not have been happier with the experience. From the ease of booking, the immediate responses from the owner, and the wonderful accommodations I would not hesitate to recommended this cabin to a friend. This property is a bargain all things considered.
Came to celebrate Father’s & Sister’s birthdays and we had a blast! Location very convenient to everything and private basically stayed in and just enjoyed everyone’s company did venture out to the park and so many waterfalls and views. Definitely want to return after COVID and see more downtown!
The cabin was great. We loved the location. The property itself was definitely nice and roomy. Amenities were great. Only issue was the air on the first floor was not working well. Got a little warm in there but we will definitely want to stay there again.
A Thoroughly Enjoyable Experience in a Beautiful Cabin
The Fox’s Den is an amazing cabin and we thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay. The cabin was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well appointed with thoughtful touches that made the stay all the more enjoyable. It is in a convenient location, close to the action, but far enough away to let you enjoy the beauty and solace of nature. The property manager was great, very helpful and willing to answer any questions that we had. Highly recommend the Fox’s Den if you are looking for a cabin in Gatlinburg.
This Cabin was just perfect. Located in a log cabin community in Gatlinburg, with stunning views of the Smokies. Lots of space, and with a kitchen that had everything you can imagine having for a rental. With two of us being chefs, it was well stocked with all cookware and appliances we needed.
We really appreciated all the wonderful Christmas decorations as well.
Thank you Victoria and John for renting us this beautiful place..
We stayed here with 2 adults, 2 seniors (grandparents), and 3 small children. The cabin had plenty of room for our group of 7. It was clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed during our stay. The children especially enjoyed the loft area. The location was far enough away for peace and quiet, yet close enough to drive into town within minutes. Communication with the owner and property manager was fast and easy. They were very attentive during our stay.
Great experience. Worked well for my wife and kids on one floor and the godparents on another floor. All is new and beds are comfy. Kids enjoyed access to the pool and bears walked by our cabin several times which was exciting. Things to know... Very close to other cabins so if you have partiers near you, you can hear it. And the view of mountains is pretty narrow but lovely. Stars are gorgeous. If you are going hiking in the park, you need to drive through Gatlinburg which can be congested.
I brought my kids, their spouses and kids to Gatlinburg and stayed at the Fox's den. The cabin was beautiful! The furnishings, the bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen...everything suited our needs perfectly. We loved the decks, grill, hot tubs and porch swings. The beds were so comfortable. Wouldn't change a thing. The location was perfect as well. We had easy access to a grocery store (less than two miles from the cabin), and downtown Gatlinburg was just minutes away. The national park (our main reason for being there) was easily accessible. The property managers were very responsive and took care of our every need. I highly recommend a stay at the Fox's Den. Loved every minute of our vacation - thank you!!!
The cabin we stayed in was immaculate and very well kept. Couldn’t have picked a better property. Had many of the amenities within a mile drive and was only about 2.5 miles outside of Gatlinburg. A great place to relax!! We didn’t get to enjoy the cabin to the fullest as our son was playing in a baseball tournament and we spent most of our time at the fields. Would def stay there again.
Victoria and John (Owners/Property Managers) were very responsive and were extremely easy to work with. Anything we needed or questions we had, they took care of quickly. Checked back in to make sure we were good.
Excellent choice!
This cabin was absolutely perfect! My husband and I and 2 teenage children had more than enough room to spread out. The beds were SOOOO comfortable. I slept so well while I was there. My kids also said the same about their beds. They chose to sleep upstairs in the loft. I loved the fact that all the bedrooms had their own bathrooms. We vacation in TN annually and have stayed in many cabins. This one definitely rates high on our list. The owners were quick to respond to the questions and concerns that came up during our stay. I was a little let down with the view. The rest of the cabin more than made up for that though. There is a black ant issue in the kitchen. With that said, these ants seemed to be wood ants and it's the nature of the beast when you build in the woods. They mostly would startle me when I saw them. I killed them as I found them and made sure to keep counters clean and food put away. I loved the location and the close proximity to ALL the things that we wanted to do. If you are wanting to be close enough to the action of down town Gatlinburg but far enough away to have peace and quiet, this place is for you.
The home was just as it looked in the pictures. We were 3 couples so the house was great because we each had our own bathroom. The living room sat 6 comfortably and there is also a large downstairs living area. I would bring extra toilet paper, paper towels and dishwasher supplies if you plan to stay a week as we did. Or there is a grocery store very close by where you can buy your supplies. Also bring any condiments or spices you need or purchase at the store. Kitchen was fairly well stocked if you plan to cook. The fireplace is remote control gas, not wood burning. The views are nice, but not long range views if that is important to you. The owners were very prompt with any messages we sent. The house is nice and new and it was very clean. It does have steps up to the house, and there is one bedroom on the main floor, but the other 3 require being able to climb stairs. The home is located in a log cabin community, so there are other homes near by, but once you are in the home, you do not feel like there are a lot of other homes. One of the bedrooms is a loft bedroom which we like but it was an extra bedroom for us so we did not use it. A lamp was broken in our bedroom when we arrived, however, we did not report it right away so the owners filed it as a claim on the insurance policy that you are required to purchase. So if you find something broken upon arrival, be sure and alert the homeowners via message right away. We loved the location - out just a little way from town about which we were very happy. Gatlinburg has turned into a shoulder to shoulder situation and extremely busy. So we were very happy not to be right downtown. This home is about 1 mile away from the Arts and Crafts loop which we loved. Not crowded and charming with lovely things to buy. If you do plan to enter the park frequently as we did to hike, if you leave fairly early in the morning you can get through town quickly. But allow extra time coming back out of the park later in the day. The only thing we did not care for were the sheets. I think they might be bamboo and felt different to us. But the other 2 couples thought they were fine. Overall, I would definitely rent this home again.
