The deck overlooks the stream and is perfect for a romantic dinner serenaded by rushing water. The hot tub allows guests to enjoy the outdoors in cooler weather in comfort. Both the bedroom and living room overlook the stream, with the rapids singing guests to sleep. After entering the cabin in the kitchen you step down in to the sunken living area and then another step up will take you to the bedroom or bathroom. A large and romantic one bedroom layout to accommodate its king-size bed and oversized bathroom featuring custom inlaid slate shower and sauna. The entire interior is finished in tongue and groove with hardwood floors. Accented with eighteenth century antiques, 42-inch Smart TV in living area ad bedroom, Riverside Princess offers the very best of comfort, amenities and atmosphere. We can assist with trout stamp/license information, and the river is stocked with trout weekly most of the year so even a novice fisherman is assured of an enjoyable catch. As one of only a dozen or so cabins still available on the river and in downtown Gatlinburg, Riverside Princess is sure to become your favorite hideaway in the Smokies. We didn’t take advantage of cooking any meals here though we did use the toaster once; everything is provided to prepare all of your meals. We loved being on the river and the hot tub & sauna were a much welcome bonus after walking and hiking. Be careful of the step down stairs into the living room if you are with anyone with a disability or children. We were aware because the listing does state that, but just wanted to mention it. The hot tub and sauna were very clean! The kitchen is stocked well enough. We did not need anything else. There was a spider cocoon on one of the living room drapes but I made sure to tell them that when we checked out. Obviously, you’re in the mountains so that’s bound to happen. We were very pleased with the location and even walked into town one day. I would stay here again! Very easy to work with and even called on our way there since we were running late to make sure we had the after hours number of case we needed anything when we got there. The chalet was perfect for us! The river was so peaceful flowing and we enjoyed the hot tub as well. We even had a local 4 legged greeter that made our trip exciting! Overall it was clean, except for some cobwebs and dust but I realize it is in the woods. We loved having the creek beside us and seeing all the bears! Everyone from beginning to end was wonderful in communicating! We had a great stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone!!! ##### Scott V. Clean, cute and cozy. The river view was amazing and it was so close to all of the attractions. Dianebwas sweet and very easy to communicate with prior to our trip. Curtains were dirty, window blinds are broken, cobwebs in window sills, pots and pan need replaced skillet was burnt and unusable. The shower could use a grab bar for stability.The steps were difficult for us but we are seniors.We did not use the hot tub.The best thing about the cabin was the deck overlooking the river. ##### Donna F.
