The ambiance of this cabin is fantastic, and being right on the river was amazing! Bear Cabin is so comfy & cozy and the decor was all "bear" theme. Loved the charm of this 100 year old cabin, with all the modern amenities: 3 TV's, full equipped kitchen & even a dishwasher, cable & wifi. The only thing the kitchen was lacking was a garbage disposal which was no big problem. The covered patio was really nice, complete with a ceiling fan, table & chairs for games, 4 large rockers & a heated jacuzzi for enjoying the fabulous view of the river. There were even 4 patio chairs out on the grass to enjoy the river. It doesn't get any better than this for relaxation! We even had a real bear visit one day, which completed the "bear" theme! We want to come back next year, and would recommend this cabin to anyone who loves rustic charm. It was in a perfect location close to downtown but yet you felt like you were out by yourself. Quiet, cozy and convenient to so many activities. Cozy beds, comfortable furniture and plenty of room. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood was great for walks and exploring downtown. I would definitely rent again. Cozy cabin with so much character nicely situated by the river. We enjoyed the serenity of the screened back porch most of all, where we found ourselves most of the time during our stay. This was the cleanest cabin we have ever stayed in while visiting Gatlinburg over the past 17 years as a family! Great location to use the local trolley system to travel to downtown Gatlinburg. There is a trolley stop roughly a 1/4 mile from the cabin that would be easy to access, however we chose to drive to the Welcome Center just a couple miles up the road to park and ride from there to eliminate some walking on the chance we made larger purchases while in Gatlinburg. We loved our stay here and will definitely stay again 10/10! ##### Alan S.
