There was plenty of space for my family to relax between our day trips into Gatlinburg. It was nice to have bathrooms adjoined to each bedroom. It was easy to relax in the living room with all the couches.
We had a great time and loved the area and the cabin, especially the front porch. We found it to be well supplied and checking in was easy with a keypad lock.
Our only criticism is that the beds were a little old, so those of us with back issues had some trouble but in general everything was great!
What a great cabin. We loved the location, the local wildlife (bear visitors every day) and the front porch. The fishing was top notch in the creek across the road. We hope to come again really soon! It was a fantastic location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
My family and I were very pleased with our stay at Creekside / Fish House… The location was perfect… The house was clean and stocked nicely…. We walked every day along the creek with the dogs taking in the beauty of the area… Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay !!
We loved the spacious cabin with the large screened in porch with the rocking chairs. It was peaceful & quiet & beautiful. You could easily drive to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg for entertainment or food but we chose to just stay at the cabin. I would rent this cabin again!
Canin was in a lovely quiet location. Very clean. Perfect layout for 3 couple's. Every bedroom has its own bath...one is pretty interesting. Close to both Pigeon Forge and Galinburg. Hope to stay again soon!
We had a great stay at fish house. The location was perfect to hop in to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge! It was beautiful at the house with the steam across the street. The layout was nice too, especially the big kitchen and screened porch. The house was a little dim and a little musty but we expected a few quirks in an older cabin.
Great accommodations, beautiful area, friendly staff, a wonderful place to get away. Stocked trout stream a stones throw away. 120 year old cabin is full of charm and a great place to bring the whole family. Fully stocked kitchen for making a simple meal, or a full blown holiday feast. Staff went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience.
This property is located away from the noise of the downtown area. It is just as described. The only drawback/plus was lack of phone service. If you want to unplug and relax, this is the place. Sitting on the front porch you can listen to the birds sing and the water running, watch the squirrels play, or read your favorite book. Enjoyable stay.
Although the house was not as clean as we would have hoped, we still enjoyed our stay. The brand new carpets were plush and nice. Air conditioning worked well. The location was gorgeous right next to a beautiful creek in the mountains.
The outside could use some work , grass needed to be cut & the bathrooms need grab bars. The box spring in one of the bedrooms need to be replaced. Overall the cabin was very clean & we enjoyed our stay
We stayed three nights in this rustic cabin. Three bedroom was perfect us, my mom and his dad. Everyone has private bathroom . The location is convenient to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The porch was welcoming and peaceful with the running creek outside. It is older so don’t expect top notch decor or anything. It worked for us to enjoy this trip for each of your widowed parents, my mom and my husbands dad. Easy access from lots of doors for them. No complaints to give just recommendations to the rental company. Nothing we couldn’t deal with. We would stay again based on charm , scenery and location and proximity to attractions and restaurants.

Home needs some upkeep
Overall our stay was great! The neighborhood was a good area and it had a beautiful outside. The only issues we had were the upkeep of the property. We understand that this is a historic property but believe the furniture and bedding could use some updating. We also saw multiple roaches (near the kitchen more than anything). It rained during our stay and the fireplace in the kitchen did leak a little, we weren’t sure if it was from the ceiling or the fireplace itself. We did enjoy our time there. It was a nice getaway!
