It takes less than 10 minutes to get to downtown Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountain National Park trails. The only downside of the cabin was the lightning. It is very dark in the main living area and bathroom. The cabin is well stocked and clean. It is pretty small but it is perfect for a couple and one to two small children. The couch coverts to a full size bed. We enjoyed walking our dog along the road in front of the cabin since it is on a dead end. We even had a bear stroll by one night when we were at the fire pit roasting marshmallows. I would have gave it 5 stars had it not been so dark and cave like inside. It was hard getting ready in such a dark bathroom. The bath tub is also very small and the drain plug did not work. ##### Rhonda R.
