"We ended up going on a diff weekend due to storm blocking roads. Nice they allowed us to change despite policy. However few problems with our stay 1\. Housekeeping. We asked for extra comforter / duvet as we had 4 guests in that each preferred own blanket. Multiple times had to re-ask as housekeeping kept taking them during cleaning and turndown. On top of this there were some shelves covered in thick layer of dust. Superficial job. 2\. Food was OK. Manzanita was decent but lobby and taco place weren’t very good. 3\. Main pool and hot tub closed for maint. Spa pool was open for use but was looking forward to hot tub. 4\. Ski in / out not possible due to lack of snow — sometimes a ski Sherpa from Northstar would help drive down guests, but only if you had a lesson otherwise they’d fuss. So either hike down mountain with skis or take 2 gondolas."

"The problem that dragged this review from a 4.5 down to a 2 is the manner in which corporate management has truncated normal electrical and electronic usage and enjoyment. My devices would not charge properly. The internet could not be powered properly. TV usage was narrowly controlled. Until I learn that these restrictive policies have been altered, I will never again use this chain. This is such a shame. The property is clean and well maintained. The staff is solicitous and caring. The breakfast was well done. It is such a shame that my experience was ruined by the restrictive electrical and electronic programming."
