"It is a bit outdated and needs an upgrade. The place is clean, well maintained however and staff helpful. The room needs more outlets. Outlets are located on the desk and very slow to fully charge phone. Location is great! Everything is in walking distance- Grant and Millennium Parks, Michigan Ave, bus/train easily accessible, State St for shopping, etc. No refrigerator nor microwave in the room."

"Overall, I had a good experience at HI Chicago. The staff was very courteous, welcoming, and helpful, and their friendly attitude made the stay comfortable. The location was convenient, and the facilities were generally good and well-maintained. The only area that could use some improvement is cleanliness, particularly in certain common areas. Apart from that, everything else was fine, and I would consider staying here again. With a little more attention to cleanliness, the overall experience could be even better."
