"Everything was lovely. I enjoed this getaway for a few days to myself. I kept up my workout routine in the gym. The drinks were delicious and strong (3-5p) is happy hour so you get 30% off on top of the 10-15% discount you get if you're staying. Also, There's wine tasting on Wednesdays and that was awesome (I finished mine overlooking the ocean and sunset on my private balcony). The food is delicious here. Didn't care for the clam chowder too much, but the halibut and the roast on the plantain dish was delicious lol The only thing I was underwhelmed about was no room service and the spa's(jacuzzis) there onsite. But, Highly recommend and i'll be back."

"We loved our stay at the Highlands. Fireplaces in room were a nice touch and overall room sizes were large. Would come back again!"

"Amazing hotel!!! The staff were so friendly and accomodating. The only thing is that there is no A/C since the property is older so keep that in mind BUT they do have fans to give you if needed. But they were amazing, bed was comfy and great views"

"We had an amazing time here. The property and views are the perfect way to enjoy the location and it’s perfectly situated to visit Carmel, Monterey, and BiG Sur.
