Panorama Suite El Mirador: A spectacular place to stay for 2 people. Enjoy the most beautiful days at the winery above the clouds on the Canary Island of La Palma. A unique pool and many other outdoor areas:
The pool, featuring a small kitchen and secluded lounging areas, is one of the most beautifully situated pools on Isla Bonita. The area surrounding the pool extends across several terraces at different elevation levels, all offering ocean views. The 70,000-square-meter Hacienda La Palma features six holiday rentals whose guests share the pool. The pool area offers a high degree of privacy. Thanks to the rock gardens and plants, as well as the varying elevations and orientations of the terraces, there are areas shielded from view.

El Mirador features an outdoor terrace directly in front of the kitchen. It includes a lounge area with two sun loungers and views of the Atlantic coast off Isla Bonita and into the valley across the way. There is also a cosy, sheltered seating area with ocean views, grapevines, and prickly pears. The accommodation is located near the car park and features a herb spiral.

El Mirador has a wood-burning stove with a glass-enclosed fire. A small, well-equipped kitchenette. High-speed internet via microwave radio link and Wi-Fi. German satellite TV, a sofa in front of the fireplace, and a window seat for two people. The 1.60-meter bed in an alcove is cosy. There’s a window here with a mosquito net. The home’s understated decor creates space to relax and unwind.

This southwestern-facing, wind-sheltered property, situated at 1,380 metres above sea level, is usually above La Palma’s trade wind cloud cover. It stretches across terraces and hills. In the immediate vicinity of the holiday homes, you’ll find trailheads for hiking routes on the island of La Palma. Through the vineyards to Refugio El Pinar; through the laurel forest and the visitor centre with the Guanche caves in La Zarza; the famous dragon tree hike from Buraccas; or the spectacular tour up to Roque de los Muchachos to the astronomical observatories. The clean air and starry nights on La Palma have led to the establishment of the world’s largest observatories here. Anyone who spends a holiday in a holiday rental or casa rural on the northwest side of La Palma will be happy to return.

Below Las Tricias, heading towards Cueva de Agua, you’ll find Calle Jonsito Beach. During the summer months, the black lava sand beach typical of the Canary Islands is visible here.
