"Despite it being very low season and most of St Valery sur Somme being shut for annual holidays, we had a lovely time. We were aware beforehand that this was the case. We have stayed at this lovey Gite before and it was fabulous then. Situated in the heart of the town it has beautiful views over the bay and is a lovely cosy fisherman’s cottage. Great facilities and beautifully clean. The check in was as easy as always and we hope to stay again. Thank you."

"We have just enjoyed a wonderful 3 day stay. The property is brilliantly located in the middle of town with restaurants, shops and bakery all within a couple of minutes. A great base for exploring the local area. The property is well equipped and very comfortable. There is paid parking near the property. Our elderly uncle did find the stairs very steep so the house is not very suitable with those with limited mobility."

The peace was only broken by the train at the end of the garden and a seal having his breakfast outside one morning! "This is a simple, efficient, friendly and well-run hotel. Also has an excellent restaurant for a hotel of this size. In fact I literally just stayed at the Ibis Styles Châtelaillon-Plage which has a spa, a pool and is near the beach - a nice hotel too, but its restaurant really is pricey and mediocre. The Ibis Abbeville, supposedly a lower standard absolutely beats it hands down with regard to service and its restaurant."
