The owners of La Maison d'Hélène welcome you on the Opal Coast, in a single storey house of 104m², completely renovated, in an enclosed courtyard with garage and terrace.
Due to its location you will have the opportunity to discover the great natural spaces of La Baie de Somme, classified as one of the most beautiful bays in the world and other tourist places in the area.
Discover St Valéry medieval city, its port, its fishing district, its listed buildings, its steam train which will take you for a stroll in the marshes.
Mers les Bains with its superb villas with colorful facades.
The fishing ports of Le Crotoy, Le Hourdel, Le Hable d'Ault, Le Tréport with its chalk cliffs, its funicular and its many fish restaurants.
The Marquenterre ornithological park.
5kms from the aquatic center with fitness area.
15 mins from the EU castle and its park, the St Laurent collegiate church.
Within this cottage on a 500m² plot you will have an entrance to the relaxation area, a dining room with TV lounge opening onto the fitted kitchen (dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, fridge), 2 bedrooms with new bedding: one with a 2m x 1.40m bed and the other with 2 beds of 2m x 0.90m.
A bathroom with shower, hairdryer, separate toilet.
Upstairs, a bedroom with new bedding of 1.40 x 2 m, a shower room with semi-independent WC, a landing with 1 extra bed.
Possibility of cot, high chair.
A barbecue is at your disposal in the garden where you can enjoy a lounge and deckchairs.
A deposit of 200. € will be requested upon arrival and returned upon departure.

Beautiful property however….
Lovely clean property in good location. Our teenagers however were forced to share a room as the owner had blocked off the upper floor. Prior to staying I declined the cleaning package in writing, however the owner tried to add it to the bill when we were leaving.

Beautiful well equipped cottage with lovely hosts
We stayed in Christine and Thierry's cottage for a weekend in early December 18. It is situated in a lovely quiet position and is easy to find. The cottage is immaculate and had all the comforts that we needed for our stay. The modern kitchen is well equipped, the shower is excellent, the beds comfortable and there is lots of living space. There were four of us and we all loved the cottage. Christine and Thierry were superb hosts, they were extremely helpful without being intrusive. We have stayed in many places all over Europe and this is amongst the best. Thank you Christine and Thierry! We hope to return sometime.

Lovely spacious cottage in quiet setting
Very pretty property with lots of space inside. It is situated in a quiet hamlet but you are only 15 minutes drive from the town (for a decent supermarket). There is lots to see and do here - we enjoyed Cayeux sur Mer with its pretty beach huts, St Valery for the river walk to the medieval town and the underground town at Nahours. The owners are welcoming (with a gift of currant jam) and we got by in a mix of English and French ! There were a few extra charges for fuel and bed linen and towels which we hadn’t expected (though one is referenced under tariffs if you look) and you could have paid for cleaning (we didn’t need to) . Overall a lovely holiday which was very relaxing - a great way to recharge your batteries!

Very pleasant house with spacious rooms , good quality everywhere, very good shower, cooker utensils etc.. A little surprised that the toilet and bathroom lead directly off the kitchen and that no towels were supplied - we had to go and buy some, which wasn't a problem, but is the first time we have had to do this. Also we had to pay extra for the bedding, which wasn't a large amount, but again was a first for us. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and Thierry was very friendly and helpful.

Very nice house
Clean, comfortable and warm. Lovely location in small village, quiet but no amenities. Unsure as to how to get there as instructions only on an app which we couldn't do. Needs more mugs as we had to keep washing up otherwise very well equipped with good hot shower etc. Stairs are a little wobbly but maybe not finished when we stayed. Also note linen, towels and heating is extra. Overall lovely house and would go again. Thank you
