Cozy vacation cottage on Lake Plau / MVP for 2–4 people

In Twietfort, a small town at the southern tip of Lake Plau, this 50-square-meter holiday bungalow for up to 4 people awaits you. It is located in the ll holiday home community, surrounded by beautiful countryside.
Built in 1989 and modernised several times since then.

The house has 2 bedrooms—one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed (bottom: 140 x 200 cm; top: 90 x 200 cm).
The well-equipped kitchen features a 2-burner hob, sink, refrigerator, and filter coffee maker. Additional amenities include satellite TV, a DVD player, a radio with CD player, a cot, a high chair, a wood-burning stove, a private grill, and convenient self-check-in.

Enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings on the 220-square-meter property—ideal for a relaxing morning coffee or peaceful evenings.
The well-maintained beach on Lake Plau is just a 10-minute walk away and is perfect for swimming, fishing, and boating. Sun loungers and bicycles are available for rent, and playgrounds, scuba diving courses, and relaxation activities round out a wonderful stay.
A restaurant serving regional and exotic cuisine, as well as a beach bar offering ice cream, coffee, cake, and refreshments, are available.

Parking for one car is included. Additional costs for electricity, water usage, and other utilities will be billed based on consumption.

The region is ideal for biking and hiking tours, as well as for day trips to Rostock, Schwerin, Güstrow, or the surrounding small towns.

Just 3 km away, in Bad Stur, is the “Bärenwald Müritz”
; a climbing park in Plau am See; a handcar ride along a disused railway track past meadows, fields, and small lakes; explore the Affenwald and the summer toboggan run; enjoy swimming at the Müritz Therme; visit the Müritz Saga in Waren; explore Agroneum in Alt Schwerin; and other interesting activities will make your stay an unforgettable experience.

For a stay in our holiday home, you have the option of bringing your own bed linens; for €10.00 per set, the beds will be made upon your arrival. (You must contact us directly.) You must bring your own bath and kitchen towels.
Upon arrival, a security deposit of 50.00 € per booked week is due. This will be used to cover any utility costs incurred (electricity: 0.45 €/kWh, water: 8.00 €/m³) and any damages that may have occurred.
On the day of arrival, you’ll receive a welcome package:
including 1 roll each of toilet paper and paper towels, 1 small bottle of dish soap, 2 trash bags, and 1 dishcloth.

You’ll be staying in the heart of nature, waking up to birdsong in the morning and marvelling at the sunset in the evening.
There’s no exciting nightlife here, no noise from traffic, and no crowded shopping streets.
