When is the best time to go to Gandul?

For an optimal experience in Gandul, the best time to visit is during the dry season, which typically runs from December to April. During these months, you'll find consistently pleasant weather with less humidity and a lower chance of rain, making it ideal for enjoying the beaches and outdoor activities. The temperatures are warm but comfortable, usually hovering around 25-30°C (77-86°F), superb for swimming, sunbathing, and exploring the natural beauty of the area. This period also generally aligns with the high season, meaning most facilities and tours will be operating at their peak. Couples looking for a romantic getaway will particularly appreciate the clear skies and gentle breezes for sunset strolls along the coast or dining al fresco.

"Amazing value! The hotel and its location is perfect for the budget traveler who isn't planning on spending the whole trip in the hotel room. This room was no-frills except where it counted -- the bed is very comfortable, the AC is quiet and cold, and the bathroom/shower is clean and well-appointed. Walking distance to some incredible restaurants in Miramar, the arts district, and La Placita. A short 5ish-minute Uber ride to the beaches and Old San Juan. "Cleanliness and service"

Hilton Garden Inn San Juan Condado

10/10 Excellent

"Everything was perfect. I’m in my late 20s and I took a trip with my girlfriend to see her family and experience Puerto Rico for the first time. We got stranded on the beach by a micro-storm and were soaking wet. It was our last night in PR and were so sad to see it end so abruptly. That’s when MARIANA really made our stay really mean something. She was so sweet and professional every time we came home after a day full of activities. This night, however, she really made sure to make us feel like borderline family. She greeted us with towels, the biggest smile, and a hug for my shivering girlfriend. Her warmth and enthusiasm alone is a reason I’d come back and stay."
