Do not go there!

Posted 03-Jun-2018
It is an isolated hotel! There is no communication between management and staff! The grounds are dirty as a some of the hallways! They closed a restaurant and did not put up a sign! The bar is busy and the wait is long! The food when it came (I waited 30 minutes for a piece of cheesecake) was ok! If you want Galway- stay closer to Galway - If you want the falqay

Lovely hotel. Very clean. Staff lovely. Shame hotel that bit far from city center.

Pros: Very little
Very poor ventilation in the hotel, very stuffy. Compared to other Clayton hotels this one is way behind. Only one TV in the hotel bar, not accommodating for watching any sport.

Mediocre, needs more staff

Posted 25-May-2018
This hotel is a comfortable out of town hotel. Suitable for people on bus holidays or travelling businessmen. Not convenient to Galway city centre (unless have car or take local bus). Rooms are nice and spatious and clean. Main problem is lack of staff at reception and in particular at breakfast. The staff are all lovely, but there isn’t enough of them. At breakfast there was not one clean table both mornings (at 8-9am on a week day...) even though breakfast room was almost empty. Only one or two staff trying to do their best. Sorry, but wouldn’t stay there again.

Very nice Hotel. Not a great location

If you’re using Galway as a base to visit the area around, it’s a great place. They have ample parking, very clean and comfortable rooms. And there’s a supermarket right across the street. However I wouldn’t recommend it for one night in Galway. It’s a bit outside of town and the traffic to the center of the city is pretty heavy. My wife and I stayed two days downtown and two days out here and we’re very pleased

The staff at this hotel are amazing. They work hard and are extremely friendly. They made our stay wonderful. The room we had was huge. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was great. It is a very short trip to the downtown area.

The hotel was okay, but a little expensive. The location is not walkable to any attractions. The restaurant was very good.
