Fabulous Beach Views - BRAND NEW ELEVATOR Summary: Beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo with fabulous gulf views! Close to Pointe West Beach Club! Sleeps 9! The Space: Vacation luxury at its finest will be yours at Villa Paradise, brought to you by Best of the West! This fabulous newly remodeled, 3 bedrooms 3 bath condo is located on the 3rd floor right by the dune walkover with a short walk to the beach and Pointe West Beach Club. A Brand New Elevator was installed in this building in February 2024. Offers king size bed in master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, king-size bed in 2nd bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and two bunk beds in 3rd bedroom with TV in all bedrooms. The living room has a pull-out sofa bed. You will enjoy the modern fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, bath and pool towels provided, and all beds are dressed for your party. This condo has a Ring doorbell at the entrance door for your security. Luxuriate in your seaside getaway, while you kick back, unwind on your private balcony while taking in the fabulous views of the gulf and beach! When you stay in a Best of the West home, all you need to bring is your clothes, sunscreen, food and you! Best of the West provides basic consumables needed for your entire stay; paper towels, toilet paper, large & small trash bags, dish soap, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, hand soap, coffee, creamer, sweetener, coffee filters, first aid kit, and to make things even easier, a luggage cart to help you pack & unpack from your car! Guest Access: You will be provided the door code, wifi code, and all other check-in information 2 days before check-in. The Neighborhood: Pointe West is an exclusive resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island. The beaches are clean and groomed regularly and they are by far the best on the island. The main clubhouse has a beautiful infinity-edge pool, hot tub, kid’s pool, cabanas, grills, gift shop, workout facility with lockers, and a game room. \*\*\*AMENITIES FEE: Please note that you will need to obtain a wristband and access code from the Pointe West Beach Club to take full advantage of the community facilities (pools, gym, clubhouse game room, Basketball, and Pickleball courts). They charge $25 per guest 4 years old and older and are good for the entire length of your stay. This fee will be paid directly to the Beach Club upon registration. (You will receive an email from the Pointe West POA to prepay the resort fee. The primary guest on your reservation will need to show an ID at the Beach Club Office to pick up the wristbands and parking passes.) \*\*\* Fees increased to $25/per person in 2023\. The fee is not mandatory. If you do not plan to use the pools and other amenities during your stay, you do not have to purchase the wristbands, but you will need to get parking passes from the Beach Club. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need to cook for a week straight—including a slow cooker, electric water kettle, drip coffee pot, and keurig. Most of the necessities were provided for us, including laundry detergent and dryer sheets, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, paper towels, extra toilet paper, etc. Cons: the AC must have been off before we arrived because it smelled musty and was hot. I think the AC ran nonstop for about 2 days cooling the entire place down. We identified some other sources of the smell on the doors, which had mildew growing on them. The condo was as clean as the property manager could make it, but someone needs to clean the exterior doors (property owners?). This is not related to the condo itself, but rather the grounds: the last two days of our trip there was an explosion in mosquito population. Every time we walked outside we were swarmed. Packing up and leaving was a nightmare—we had to keep the kids in the unit with an adult while the rest of us literally threw things into our cars while fighting off mosquitos, and that was WITH repellent on. We ended up killing 10 in our car. On top of the mosquito swarm, the elevator stopped working. ##### Julia H. The condo had everything we needed. The beach was just far enough to avoid the crowds and the view was amazing! Beautiful condo that was well decorated. The mattresses were amazingly comfortable.
