Whether you\`re coming to the beach for fun or celebrating a special occasion or holiday, Old Flamingo offers everything you want and more in a home-away-from-home. The impressive wooden table is surrounded by 6 wicker chairs with cushioned seats and accented by the chandelier above. This room also has a coffee bar with a Keurig and assortment of mugs, a cabinet of books and trinkets, and a second cabinet storing specialty dinnerware. Next is the elegant kitchen with sparkling countertops, cute decor, stainless steel appliances, and built-in pantry. You\`ll have all the tools you need to cook, toast, fry, or bake to your heart\`s content. The beautiful cabinets and drawers are fully stocked with pots/pans, utensils, silverware, drinkware, and more. Off of the kitchen, behind 2 doors you\`ll find the side-by-side washer and dryer. Behind the home is the garage and two separate patio areas. The first has a lovely bistro set, perfect for sitting down with a cup of coffee, reading a book, or just enjoying conversation. The outdoor shower is also here, complete with a storage caddy and mirror, so you can get clean and sand-free when you return from the beach. The 2nd patio (accessed through the garage and 3rd bedroom) is the perfect place to just chill out, have a cold drink, grill whatever you like, and relax with friends and family. When it\`s time to get cleaned up, enjoy 2 full bathrooms both with beautifully tiled showers. The master bathroom has a tub as well. After a fun day on the Island, you\`ll sleep well at The Old Flamingo. There are Queen beds in both the master suite and 2nd bedroom, and the 3rd bedroom, also known as \`The Flamingo Room\` has a twin bed with a twin trundle. It is off a very busy street and there is no parking, They expect you to park in the street. There is no designated area to park either. The house is on the corner so it is right at a stop sign, so that limits parking in front of it. There is a very small driveway on the side, that I can barely fit my jeep wrangler in. People park beside the house and again a very busy street. They have a side yard that they could very easily make in to parking. I would stay here again if they resolved the parking issue but unitll then it would be a no! ##### April W. They never cleaned before our arrival and the prior guest left several notes letting us know about all the issues they had with the house. One of the pillows has a blood stain the restrooms where not clean at all. The linen on the beds were not switched around and the floor were dirty. I immediately called and no answer but I did leave a voicemail. Within 20 minutes I was contacted by the cleaning company and they apologized for the inconvenience. They did send someone out to come clean the house. The young lady was very nice and professional. She took care of the house and was very apologetic. The house was overall good for what we needed. The neighborhood was a little sketchy since part of the house looked like someone’s car hit the left side of the house. There was a car broken into across from the house. The house does offer a one car garage that will fit a small car or small SUV. Parking is limited in the area so be careful if you park outside. Overall there are plenty of good food and places around the neighborhood. Close to the beach and plenty of choices for shopping. ##### Analilia A. Upon our arrival from Dallas we already experienced a long tiring drive coming through a storm. When arriving at 12:45/1 am we just wanted to shower and rest. When looking in the bathroom there was mold all around the shower curtains and scum on the linings. Upon checking the beds the linen was full of pet hair (which I am highly allergic)and looks like what could have been fleas. When calling the number that was provided understandably the host was resting. However, not at any point was a solution provided. We left the property and went and purchased a room at Holiday Inn Express and had to spend additional money. Upon trying to reach the host the next day, I was repeatedly sent to vm. The house keeper reached out and asked for videos in which I sent. When asking were the videos received and what were the next steps, she responded and stated the host would be contacting me. Never heard back. Today is now Sunday 5/18 and still no response from the host. When calling I was again sent to vm. My friend called and he answered stating we would received a call back on Monday. Not only was our girls trip interrupted by this inconvenience but we also lost rest and had to spend more money. ##### Alexis D.
