Our family was taking a cruise out of Galveston and this property is literally two blocks away from the cruise terminal so it was great to spend the previous night in old town Galveston very nice and then the next morning we just walked to our terminal for the cruise line, everyone was very helpful. Very nice. The rooms were great. The breakfast was incredible. Highly recommend recommended.

The bars are less than great so we would suggest finding another bar nearby to utilize. Drinks were incorrectly mixed resulting in bad tasting drinks. Everyone should know how to make an Old Fashioned that taste great!

We were celebrating a birthday in Galveston and chose this hotel. The Tremont was very clean, the room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. This location is close to the Strand and plenty of shopping and restaurants. We visited the rooftop bar. It has some nice views, but the service was very slow, so we did not stay long. We did enjoy the breakfast at Blum & Co. and the gym! We would definitely visit and stay again.

I was very disappointed in my stay. When I checked in I found that the fridge wasn’t working, there were no robes provided, if you wanted hot water in the shower or sink you would have to run the water for at least 5 min and the lighting was horrible. There was no makeup mirror and the brightest part of the room was the toilet, so if I wanted to read I would have to sit on the toilet. And to top it off when you got off the elevator the mildew smell in the halls was overwhelming. What was once a lovely hotel is now a high priced motel.
