The house was great, minus the front door being very hard to close and lock securely and the hot tub being out of commission. We did enjoy the lift to the second floor and the beach toys and chairs in garage. Good location.

Beautiful Vacation Home

My family and I visited this home for a weekend, and had an amazing time. The house was so clean and even had extra bedding and blankets. I truly have no regrets for booking this home to spend time with family. The neighborhood was also very calm and close to the beach. We hope to be back for next time!

As per other reviews, the door was difficult to unlock with code despite suggested technique, so we used physical key during the stay. The ceiling fan was not working in the master bedroom which was unfortunate in the July heat. There is a lift which was great for transporting groceries and a handicapped person, although it does remain several inches above pavement so there is a significant step. It is an enclosed lift, so much more protected than the open lifts seen on other houses. The outdoor shower downstairs did not work despite being advised to use it, so we used the waterhose to rinse off beach sand. The beds/furniture were comfortable enough for our group of mostly children, though I don't believe adults would be happy a floor mattress if a group consisted of only adults. The house has solid floors but throw rugs in the bedroom were not very clean and after walking around post-shower our feet were noticeably soiled from the flooring. There were also ants in several areas which seemed unaffected by the ant baits. Many of the towels were stained and seemed dingy and the shower mat was moldy, so we abstained from using it. The tv had many streaming services so the kids watched lots of movies at night, and the wifi got lots of use too. The open floor plan and spacious kitchen were great for congregating but I wish there were some extra chairs/seating available (for the deck too). The property manager never answered calls but did respond to text. Owner was nice.

Great Stay in Galveston!

We loved the house and it's location between the west end of the island and the Seawall. It was clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. We plan to book it again in the future.
