We stayed February 13–20, which marked one of the saddest weeks of our lives. This home made that time a little easier simply by being a peaceful, secure, and welcoming place to land.Our daughter absolutely loved the pool — it brought so much joy during a heavy week. I also want to publicly apologize here: we departed around 5 AM and accidentally forgot to put one of the pool noodles away. The host handled it with such grace and kindness, without reprimand, which honestly made us feel even more cared for.The second night we were there, we experienced severe storms and even a tornado warning in the area. The house felt incredibly secure and solid — we never felt unsafe.Check-in was easy. Check-out was easy. The host was super responsive. Everything worked exactly as it should.The hot water tank may feel a bit small during colder winter months if multiple people are showering back-to-back, but overall this is a fantastic rental.If privacy is important to you, just note that the neighbors across the street are home often and fairly active — but otherwise the location is excellent. Easy access to the main road and close to one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, Venados Cantina.We’re actually returning in two weeks for Spring Break with our in-laws and were completely bummed this house isn’t available. We hope to stay again this fall or next year.Great rental. Grateful for the stay. Would absolutely recommend.
