Please keep in mind that Galveston is a humid Subtropical Climate. Its amazingly lush and full of life! That being said, you can expect to experience many different types of animal life, including a variety of insects on occasion. This is a natural phenomenon and part of Island living. Check in 4pm. Check out 11 am. We can make an occasional adjustment, depending on the day and check-in schedule. ALL Guests must be registered with us and the Front Desk. We require a valid Government ID that matches the name and picture on your VRBO profile. Failure to upload your ID and/or present at check-in will result in denial of entry. You will not receive a refund. We want you to relax and enjoy every second here! Please be sure to disclose all guests prior to check in (limit 9). Galveston and the Victorian have strict guidelines concerning number of guests. A violation will end your contract and you will be asked to vacate. To support our commitment to sustainability, we’ve provided a starter set of fresh towels in your room, tailored to the number of guests. If you’d like to reuse them, simply hang them on the hooks or bars provided—this small act helps us conserve energy and protect our beautiful island environment. We’ve also included 3 complimentary pool towels to help lighten your luggage and keep you refreshed during your stay! Need laundry service? No problem! Our guest laundry facilities (located in each building) are equipped with card-operated washers and dryers—just swipe your debit or credit card, and you’re all set. We are a home, not a hotel and care very much for our guests well-being. RULES: Please be sure to obtain your parking pass(es), up to 2 vehicles at the Front Desk Lobby. The 1 time Resort fee is $35 per stay (up to 7 days). One time for your entire party and includes your tropical pool passes, all amenities and 24 hour security. Trash shoots are located at the end of each breezeway. Please dispose of garbage pail waste before checking out. A $25 trash disposal fee will be charged if trash is not disposed of properly. Trash chute is located down the breezeway towards the front elevator. Please start the dishwasher before departure. We will put the dishes and silverware in their appropriate places. Soiled towels should be HUNG to dry for laundering at checkout time. PLEASE Do NOT place linens on the floor. Quiet time at the Resort is 10pm to 8am. Pool closes at 10 PM. Absolutely no smoking anywhere in the condo. We have regular guests that have allergies and we are a 100% smoke free getaway! A deodorizing fee of $300 will be charged if we detect smoke odors. Please do NOT make up beds upon checkout. You're on vacation and our team will take care of this! We love pets, but the Victorian Condominiums Resort has a STRICT NO PETS POLICY. Please do NOT bring your fur babies! TRUE SERVICE animals are the ONLY EXCEPTION. ESAs MUST HAVE A LEGITIMATE ESA LETTER FROM A LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL. Also we reserve the right to enter the property during normal business hours when necessary for maintenance or essential tasks, If you refuse to let us or our staff enter to address the problem, you are in violation of the house rules. Any violation of the house rules is grounds for immediate cancelation of your reservation and removal from the property with no refund. Absolutely no refunds after 1 hour of checking-in. Security guards checked everyday to make sure everyone there had a wrist band on. But as far as the unit we had it was not the best. It was hot the whole time because a/c unit is old and needs a new one. My husband had to change the filter and try to clean out some of the unit to get a little cold air. Staff brought us a fan but had no stand, rigged it up to a chair. The next night they brought us a new one.Maintenance came and put Freon in it which did not last long. Door pad lock didn’t work so maintenance had to come work in it. Don’t have enough towels so had to call to get some more. Room wasn’t ready at 4pm , 6pm , or 7pm when we got there. So we left and did not get into our room @9:30!!!!! Absolutely they worst VRBO we’ve ever had. Will not be staying there again. ##### James G. There was not sheets for the sofa we had to wait almost 3 hours for linen to be brought after contacting them twice. The ac did not cool the house at all we discovered the air filter was massively dirty so we changed the filter and notified them also there was only 5 towels for a group of 9 people there was not any beach towels as the descriptions stated we had to ask for that. The house rules required us to load the dishwasher and wash so the housekeeping couldn’t charge more to wash dishes but there was not any soap to use. We were on the 2nd story and the elevator that was there was broken so we had to climb four flights of stairs to bring out stuff to the room. After notifying them about the ac they claimed they reset it and turned it down to 69 which the second night was cooler till about 11pm then again it was hot. Now they did give me a 10 dollar Starbucks gift card for changing the filter. Compared to the pictures the overall place was smaller then what we assumed because the pictures were different their was one room with a full size bed and another room with a full size bed and the third room was suppose to be a twin bed with twin bunk beds it was not it was like a closet with bunk beds and a tunnel bed.
