Fun Vibe! Dog Friendly Enjoy our new heated pool & large bubbly hot tub plus splash pad! Seahorse Corral is a fun place to be with colorful sophisticated décor! Beginning with the primary bedroom you will enjoy a direct entrance to the balcony. Take in the view from your comfortable king bed. You will relax in your private ensuite bath with shower. Enjoy the smart TV from your bed. The guest bedroom features a queen bed where you can enjoy watching your favorite shows on the provided DirectTV or streaming. The guest bath with tub shower combination is just across the hall. In that hallway are the twin bunks for kids and grownups alike. Next is the AMAZING kitchen with a stylish stainless hood above the stove rarely seen in condos. Provided is all the cooking essentials you will need with dishes, utensils, & drinkware too. A beach trip wouldn't be complete without a shrimp boil and a boil pot is included! Keurig and drip coffee makers are there for your morning coffee out on the balcony taking in the lovely pool and ocean views! The expansive kitchen bar is a place you will dine on the 4 comfortable bar stools. The den is so unique with a velour teal sofa with chaise. Under the large smart TV is a unique dining/game table that tucks away when you are not in use. The balcony is where you can sit and read your favorite book on the bar height stools or the wicker chairs and loveseat. The views are beautiful of the main pool (one of the largest on Galveston Island) and see waves in the ocean beyond the pool. The Maravilla has one of the largest pools on Galveston Island! There are 3 pools, one heated plus 2 hot tubs and exercise room with ocean view! We are very dog friendly with a dog park and shower. \*\*\*As you enter the complex, you might notice a small construction project at the very front. This is no where near this condo! We provide 4 beach chairs and an umbrella. Winter Texans! We offer long term winter rates for Fall and Winter every year. Simply add a 30 day or more stay and the discount is automatically added to your quote. 40% off LONG TERM STAYS (30 days or more) in Fall (Oct thru Dec.)! 65% off LONG TERM STAYS (30 days or more) in Winter (Jan. & Feb.)! BRINGING YOUR DOG: We welcome dogs so if you would like to bring your pet with you, please send a request with the type and weight and we will send you the approval. Please add PET to your reservation. Our non-refundable pet fee is $150 plus tax for two dogs up to 35 pounds each. NOTE: If you bring a pet that you have NOT paid for, this is in violation of our House Rules and you could be asked to leave with no refund. You will have 100% access to the entire beach condo with private entrance. This condo is located next to EVERYTHING fun in Galveston. Just step across Seawall Blvd for access to the wonderful beach. Moody Gardens is just behind us within a short drive. Within walking distance is Jimmys on the Pier for dining (upstairs...over the ocean) or fishing. You can also walk to the Go Cart tracks and the movie theater and Miniature Golf. There is a handy guide in the condo with all of our favorite restaurants and things to do. Galveston Trolley is available at $1 per ride accessible at 81st St. Uber & Lyft are available also. Parking on the Seawall is available for a fee. Fee: $1 / hour, not to exceed $8 / day, yearly passes available\* Operation: 10 AM – 6 PM, 7 days a week, 365 days per year At the complex, there is ample non-reserved covered and uncovered parking. You can pay the front office upon arrival or the next morning if arriving after hours. A parking fee must be paid to Maravilla office upon arrival. The office does not accept cash. Parking Rules and prices are as follows: 1) Parking Rates will be set at $10.00 per car per day PLUS Sales tax 2) Trailers (Motorcycle) will be charged the same rate as cars and are limited to special event weekends such as Biker Rally Weekend. No other time are trailers of any sort allowed to be parked at Maravilla. 3) Per day rates will be capped after $70.00 per 30 day time period, and the per day rate will start over again on the 31st day. THE FINE PRINT: Guests are required to sign our Rental Agreement within 48 hours of booking to keep the reservation. Security Deposit Required Up To $300\. Deposit to be processed by Host on Guest's Credit Card. No smoking in the condo or the balconies. Parties are prohibited. The complex enforces quiet time between 10pm and 8am. Minimum renter age is 25 and is strictly enforced. Drivers license is required. GLITTER may not be used anywhere in the condo. You will lose your deposit if glitter is found. NO garbage may be left outside of the condo. Garbage must be placed in the receptacles in the parking lots. If we are fined by the complex we will pass it on to you. Pets, when approved, must go to pet relief areas at the complex and must be kenneled if left alone in the condo. Must pay the non-refundable pet fee which is $150 provided in quote. Nice decor and clean. Covered parking is great and the pools are really nice and big. Only 2 downsides are that the complex itself looks rundown (not a dealbreaker since individual rooms are nice and the main pool is so big). Accessing the beach is easy but this side of the beach is not nice at all. There’s not much actual beach—you walk off the steps and you’re just a few feet from the water. It was just perfect for us. 4 adult women and one child - the beds were incredibly comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked! There was so many things we brought that the place already had! We were very comfortable. It was so close to the beach and all the other activities. The pool was very clean and nice too! We had a fabulous time and check in and check out was seamlessly easy. In front of our vacation, we received very clear, specific instructions on how to check in. We knew we were getting there after the office was closed, but she was very helpful with all of that. The location was perfect, parking was super easy and plentiful, and the ocean was right across the road. Her property was just far enough away from the busy side of town to enjoy some peace and quiet, but close enough for a short drive, if we wanted to get in the hustle and bustle fun. There were a couple of plumbing problems but they were fixed within a few hours of our arrival. The only thing we would have liked were chests in the bedrooms. There was no place to put our clothes. The directions were very easy to follow. Note that the beach is across a particularly busy highway with no crosswalks close - closest one maybe 3/4 mile away? All beach front locations are this way, not just this condo, just FYI. The condo unit was right next to laundry, which was very convenient! The complex has 2 or 3 pools, the kids loved that, and we enjoyed the privacy since the crowds were scattered between all the pools. Overall we had a good stay and the booking people are really nice and incredibly responsive even at night. The ding would be when we went to get into our bed, the sheets in one of the bedrooms had multiple stains and a dead moth on it. The other bedroom and the bunk beds had clean sheets though. Donna immediately called somebody to come to our place and replace the sheets though that same night; she’s not somebody that will completely ignore you once your stay begins so you can feel confident you’ll get help if something comes up ##### Alex W. I parked and made my way to the office. I immediately said to the office person that I must have misunderstood. I was thinking a short walk to the beach but not over a major thoroughfare. The office lady said, “Oh, you get used to it and it’s not so bad. You don’t have to wait long to get across.” Not true!She began to overwhelm me with detail after detail about dos and dont’s. Between that and signing papers, it was taking way too much time as my family was waiting in a hot car. Then she finally said we would walk to where the condo was. As soon as we opened the door we were overwhelmed with the smell of cleaning product (Fabuloso?). The unit was cool and properly cleaned but the unit had its flaws: ice maker did not work (a few ice trays had been filled), there was no stopper for the bathroom that was next to the larger of the 2 bedrooms. I am a bath (not shower) taker and one of the other family members already had baby in that bathroom (bathing) , and finally, both nights we were there the DISH network wax not working, so we were unable to view any TV. Each morning we were there it would come on just fine and at night it would work at first, but then would not work. It was 9 p.m at night and too late to try to get it fixed. When we went to the pool on our first evening there, I sat the pizza box with pizza down and immediately we noticed bunches of ants. We did enjoy the nice pool, ##### Sue R.
