Gorgeous beachfront condo in Pointe West! KNOT 4 SAIL features two bedrooms and two baths, this vacation residence is the perfect place to enjoy your Pointe West vacation. It is located on the second level which allows you to easily enjoy the beautiful beachfront view from the living or dining space in this open floor plan condo. A fully stocked kitchen makes it easy to prepare a dinner and entertain guests at the same time.Our condo is just a short walk to the private Beach Club where you can take advantage of all the resort amenities. This condo offers: a king bedroom, a second bedroom with bunk beds with a queen on bottom and full on top. Also, Inflatable full size air mattress & pump provided as well as a Pack n Play. Sleeps 6 comfortably. 2 High Def LED TV's, WIFI, living room nicely decorated, Fully equipped kitchen, Everything you need for a great vacation! A storage locker is not provided with this unit. Pointe West is a privately owned resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island, located approximately 30 minutes from The Strand & other great Galveston attractions. You will have exclusive access to our beach that is clean & groomed regularly offering you a perfect spot to relax & unwind, away from the crowds. RESORT AMENITIES & FEE: Pointe West Beach Club, open year-round, is a privately owned/separate entity, offering resort style amenities for guest enjoyment.The optional fee is $25 per person (ages 4 & up), per stay (not per day) should you wish to enjoy these amenities. The fee includes use of the Beach Club pool, the seasonally heated Bayside/lazy river pool, hot tubs and a basketball & pickle ball court. Per Beach Club regulations, a maximum of 3 guests per bedroom is allowed for purchase. Resort sponsored activities are offered seasonally for family fun. The Pointe Restaurant is now open seasonally for lunch and dinner. The Beach Club will directly email you an invoice for payment, should your party wish to purchase and enjoy the resort amenities. Also wish there was a regular simple drip coffee maker instead of a Keurig but was still fabulous! Was well advertised and true to the description! Be advised that "town" is 30 min away and there is a lack of restaurants the further away from town you go. The good news is the beach club restaurant and bar are amazing. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. My kids got stuck in the elevator while we were there. They say we should deduct a star for that but I say it added excitement to the trip. Pools were nice. My 2 and 3 year-olds loved the lazy river pool. Beach access from the condo was great. Beach was nice and not at all crowded. We were in Gulf Shores, AL a couple weeks before and I can honestly say I enjoyed the west end of Galveston more. The condo was very comfortable and the location was excellent. My only issue was with cleanliness. The plastic glasses had been put away stacked up and wet so they stank. One of the glasses had a large amount of pink lipstick on it. We rewashed the dished and that was that. The patio was also not as clean as I feel it should have been. It was greasy and there was a cigarette butt embedded in a crease near the door. Problems easily remedied. It was extremely well maintained, stocked with about everything one could need, an excellent size. The only issue was that someone did not follow the rules with the elevator and we were forced to carry luggage down 2 flights of stairs - certainly not the issue of the condo owner. Was looking for something secluded due to medical issues and this worked out perfect. Last building on property, away from others and very quiet. Well equiped including a community pantry that all past guests have contributed to ! Stress Free week was what we needed !! ##### Kellie S. The condo was on the first row from the beach and overlooked the ocean. The views from the windows and balcony were excellent. It is a small walk to the boardwalk that you have to cross to get to the beach. The building is not directly in front of the crossover but the walk is not too long. The beds were very comfortable and the place was furnished well. It was helpful having the storage locker in the garage to store all our beach stuff. The master window has a transparent pull down shade without blinds behind it. So in the morning the sun shines really strong which is not nice if you are trying to sleep in past daybreak.
