The Space: Enjoy a wonderful getaway at this beautifully decorated 2 bedroom, 2 bath condominium located beachfront at 7000 Seawall, in the Dawn Condos. Great amenities at an affordable rate! Facilities include 2 tropical pools, hot tub, gated parking and fitness center. This 2nd floor unit offers a private balcony, living area with beach views, full kitchen with granite counters, stainless appliances, washer/ dryer in unit and master bedroom with private bath and beachview. Unit sleeps 6 comfortably with a king in the master, a queen in the 2nd bedroom and a queen sleeper in the living area. This location is close to restaurants, shopping, just a mile to Schlitterbahn and Moody Gardens, not to mention, directly across the street from the sand and beach!
Guest Access: As a guest at Dawn 1024, guests have access to the gated parking lot with unassigned parking spaces, a private entrance to unit 1024 leading to the living, dining, kitchen areas, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a private balcony. Condo amenities include a 2 pools- 1 heated, fitness room and BBQ areas.
The Neighborhood: Dawn Condos are located on Seawall Blvd, across from the beach and short walk to stores and restaurants.
Getting Around: Right on Seawall, across the street from the beach, Wal-Mart, Sonic, on the Trolly Route and just a short stroll to other restaurants, ice cream and stores.
Other Things to Note: Rentals include furnishings, linens, kitchen equipment, appliances, heating and air conditioning. What to bring: A. We do not furnish foods of any kind such as seasonings, condiments, etc., grilling supplies such as fluid, charcoal, personal soaps such as shampoo body wash, etc. or cleaning supplies such as dish soap, laundry soap, etc. B. A "starter" supply of paper products such as toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. are in each unit, the renter is responsible for additional products during their stay. C. Beach and Pool items: towels, chairs, umbrellas, sun block, repellents and toys!

Enjoyed our stay. Very clean and king bed was comfortable. Plenty of space for our family of 4 adults and 2 children. Enjoyed the pool and thankful for all the utensils in the kitchen. For awareness, parking costs $40 for 1-3 nights, not included.
Unit was clean, well-cared for and exactly what we needed! Location was great -- right across from the seawall (great view) and close to shops, restaurants, entertainment and grocery. We will definitely return!
My Mom and I had a great time in Galveston and loved this condo! The condo is in a great location with beautiful pools and right across from the beach. I will definitely book this place for my next trip. Thank you!

No complaints what so ever. As far as beach get aways go, this one is great. Great view from the condo, close to a safe sea wall crossing, nice pool, etc.! Will definitely be back!
Couldn't ask for better place!! Had everything we needed and more.

Should have been made aware of issues with unit prior to arrival!
Pros: Location
Cons:
1. Severe water damage from upstairs unit.
2. Hole in ceiling (laundry room) covered with plastic and tape.
3. Drywall/ paint bubbling from water damage.
4. Pans and utensils had dried food stuck to them. (gross)
5. Sliding glass door very hard to open and harder to close!
6. Sliding glass door does not lock!
7. Sliding glass door outside handle is missing.
8. THE VIEW.....strung across, up, down, diagonal, and no rhyme or reason was about 100 ft of 30 lb. monofiliment fishing line. TOTALLY RUINED THE VIEW !!!!!!
9. Patio furniture rusted.
10. Check-out checklist basically has you doing the prep work for the cleaning crew.
11. A few other issues.
I know they will say, "you should have said something", however, Why should I have to?
That is what they get paid for. They are a management company. They should know what is going on (site visits, quality checks etc.)

THE VIEW IS OBSTRUCTED BY FISHING LINE!!!
We came down for my 42 Birthday. And this condo was everything. And wow the master bedroom bathroom and the balcony that over see the beach . I will be back for another stay . I loved it!!
Everything was really nice. The location is perfect we really enjoyed our stay. There is a leak if it rains in the window seal in the bedroom. We had a tropical storm while we were here.
Great location, secure parking, comfortable, and well stocked kitchen. With 6 adults coming and going, the lockbox system worked perfectly. Instructions for check-in and check-out were on point and easy to follow and reference for access to amenities. We felt safe and comfortable in this complex and had a great weekend! What you see is what you get and we would stay here again.
We really enjoyed our short stay at this property. Below is a quick list of pros and cons.
Pros:
-Directly across the street from the beach.
-You can enjoy an unobstructed view from the master bedroom and patio.
-The place was nice and clean.
-The master bathroom was great!
-The kitchen had all the usual pots, pans and other typical items that we needed.
-The pool was a nice size and had a very shallow area suitable for infants and toddlers. It was also clean!
Cons:
-It was directly across the street from the beach on the Seawall. Because of this you can hear traffic all day and night. My husband and daughter are light sleepers, so they were up earlier than normal because of this. I can sleep through just about anything, so I continued to sleep a little longer than they did. This is not an issue in the secondary bedroom.
-We slept in the master while our friends slept in the secondary bedroom. They reported that their bed was hard and not very comfortable.
-There is a fee for parking and amenities per vehicle.
-Although you did get a "starter kit" of toiletries, as far as toilet paper, you only get what's on the roll when you arrive. Luckily our stay wasn't long.
-This is a minor, but you are asked to take all of the trash to the complex's dumpster. I have stayed in places where you are asked to bag the trash, but not haul it to the dumpster.
All in all, I would stay again. The location is a great selling point, and the condo itself is nice.
This property was exceptionally clean, with an amazing view of the Seawall from the balcony. The jacuzzi felt lovely after a long day at the beach. I will definitely be staying here again next time in Galveston, hopefully I can get the same room or one with similar view.

We had such a wonderful time while in Galveston! This property has a fantastic location with a beautiful view of the beach! Easy beach access right across the street from property exit gate. My friend enjoyed morning runs on the beach every morning!
The condo is very clean and had everything we needed plus more! We could have cooked, but since we were enjoying our adult week-end away from kids we opted to eat out for every meal. So many excellent places to eat nearby too. Kitchen was very clean and perfect for a small group/family.
The bedrooms are great size, beds are super comfy, and living room furniture was comfortable for our adult group of four. OMG the shower in the master bathroom....AWESOME!!
The property itself is very well maintained, pool looks really nice. The weather was really cold while we were there so we didn't use the pool, but is sure was nice to look at. We drove on motorcycles and had no issues with parking. There was an unexpected per vehicle fee for parking but that was really the only con we experienced.
Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend this property to couples and small families. Very cozy, great location, everything you need nearby, clean and safe!
We decided last minute to take a quick trip to Galveston. Found this condo facing the ocean and it was perfect! The place is very nice. We only went to one pool, but it wasn't crowded and very clean. I would definitely recommend this condo!!!
We stayed as a family and had a great time. Property was clean and the apartment was clean, nice and just across the beach. This was the first time we stayed here and would highly recommend it.
This condo is very nice, clean, and has a great view of the ocean! Beautifully decorated. It has a great selection of cookware available. It has very spacious bedrooms and closets, lots of storage. Just an fyi the email from the rental company states that "a "starter" supply of paper products such as toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. are in each unit", but that literally means the toilet paper that is on the holder already, the paper tower that is on the holder, and the garbage bag that is already in the trash can, so bring more! We learned that the hard way. Also, the sliding glass door is very hard to open and close and the patio table and balcony railing are covered in seagull feces. And the gate codes sent by the rental company were all wrong so we had to wait for cars to go in and follow them in, until we were given the correct codes by the property management the next morning. All of these were minor issues and we still had a great time! We really loved the condo and would definitely stay there again!
