Treated my adult daughter to a girls trip for her birthday. This apartment was perfect for our needs! I appreciate the smooth transaction for reserving, instructions and check out. Left very happy!
The condo was clean and spacious. The bed was super comfortable too. It had everything you need for a weekend in Galveston. The description about parking is accurate - an Expedition will not fit in the garage but we were able to find parking nearby. We would definitely return!
The property was clean and stocked with everything that we needed. Our host Elizabeth was very attentive to all of our questions and needs. I feel that she is a very kind and caring person. Only thing that stood out as a negative was that when we arrived the a/c units were and had been completely off, which left it quite hot inside and took a few hours to cool down. Not sure what happened but sure it was a simple mistake that someone forgot to turn back on to 78 degrees for us before we arrived..Do not let that stop you from renting this beautiful bungalow though because it really is a little gem in Galveston. All & All...WE LOVED OUR STAY!
Everything was great, clean, very comfy bed and really enjoyed the color scheme throughout. Very comforting and relaxing.

The location was great to walk to the beach and The Strand area. The unit had everything we needed for our stay. Great coffee at MOD Coffeehouse and tasty Tex-Mex food at Taquilo's. I would definitely stay here again.

This property was charming and so very lovely! The host was accommodating and very quick to respond to my emails.
I was greeted with a little handwritten welcome note and cookies in the fridge awaiting my arrival. The property had everything we needed and it was just a darling vibe for the perfect weekend!
I appreciated the little touches like the interior decoration, refurbished antiques & fresh paint in fun, light colors. Too bad there was construction noise to be my alarm clock my first morning there. Landlords were reasonable to just charge for the one night there. Would rent from them again.

The place is very clean and comfortable we have no complaints.
Great location, minutes from seawall, restaurants and the Strand.
Take a car so you can park in the garage if you want or you will need to park on the street.
We had a great experience at this garage apartment! I will list some pros and cons of the place but overall it was very nice and we would stay there again.
Pros:
1. Comfy mattress on bed.
2. Bright cheery place.
3. It was clean.
4. Good attention to detail with extra beach towels and a kitchen that, although we did not use it much, seemed well stocked.
5. Older building but seemed newly remodeled.
6. Garage parking.
7. Nice outdoor seating area.
8. Great value for the price!
9. Property manager was quick to respond to a question when we texted.
Cons:
1. Living room furniture was not very comfortable particularly the couch thing. I think it was a fold out bed which could be helpful for some but folded up it felt wobbly and somewhat uncomfortable.
2. The listing is very clear that there is an adjoining door to another rental so that was expected but just be aware that if you are in the kitchen or living room you can hear the neighbors tv playing. It was quite in the bedroom with the door closed.
3. The turn into the garage from the alley is EXTREMELY tight. We did it okay in our Subaru Outback but it took some maneuvering. There is street parking available as well.
4. I think the listing mentioned this but garage entrance is low when door is open. We could not stand up straight when entering and exiting the garage through the courtyard garage door.
Communication could have been better but overall very good stay
Had a great time, very comfortable and spacious and has everything you need, q tips, towels, shampoo, body wash. Dishes. Very comfortable. Only gripe is the fact that it took the property manager about and hour to reply to our question concerning our garage door, which we ended up fixing ourselves. But over all very comfortable stay, would do it again :)
Close proximity to the beach and walking distance from famous local restaurants (Gaido’s, Nick’s, etc). If you’re looking for fancy accommodations or a view of the gulf, this is not your place… however, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Great value for the price
