Beach Front on Galveston's West Beach

This beautiful beach front property is located in Palm Beach on the West End of Galveston. Vista Grande is on the beach front and has the largest unobstructed view on West Beach. This property is a great place for families or couples looking for a weekend, week, or month to relax.
After having fun on the beach all day, you can relax on the deck and watch the beautiful Gulf of Mexico directly in front of you on a spacious deck. We have a charcoal BBQ pit to cook the days catch. In the evening, sit on the deck , enjoy the ocean breeze while looking at the beautiful stars above. If a movie is in order, we have ATT&T wifi, TVs with DVDs, and satellite cable. This makes for great entertainment for the kids while the parents relax on the front deck. Free hi speed wifi is provided by AT&T.

Our location gives you quick access to all the major restaurants and shopping to meet your needs. We have a full kitchen and all the amenities you will need to have a great time on the Beach. Come enjoy yourself, forget your worries, and have a truly special vacation ON THE BEACH at Vista Grande.

Thanksgiving stay

Our family went to the beach for the Thanksgiving holiday. The location was wonderful. Paul is well prepared for guests and communicated with us proactively and was very responsive to questions. The home was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen had almost everything we needed and had nice appliances. The deck overlooking the beach is excellent. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to come back soon.

Great location, nice house

We had a great stay. The location is amazing, right on the sand. Great deck and nice ground level outdoor area. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of space for our party of 4. Host was very responsive. Our only complaint is that the linens need an upgrade. The sheets and towels have seen better days.

Unbeatable location

Can’t beat staying right on the beach. Really makes the trip so much easier and enjoyable when you can set up for the day right in front of the house. Property was very clean and communication with Paul was easy and prompt. We would certainly come back again.

Great beach getaway!

Very nice property, deck overlooking the ocean. Paul was great also, texted with a problem with the lock and they took care of it. Our family had a wonderful time swimming in the ocean at least twice a day sometimes 3.

Location, Location

It’s a fairly small, but well laid out and well maintained first row house. Porches are great and directly overlook the beach about 25 yards away. Plenty of good deck seating. It’s just a 10 minute walk to Galveston State Park.

Great Spring Break 2025

The house was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed spending time on the deck with great views of the beach and ocean. We walked right out to the beach from the house. Although the instructions said to bring our own shampoo, soap, hand soap, trash bags, toilet paper etc, the house already had all of these items in ample supply. Although the pictures in the listing had furniture that was not current it was not a negative result as the current state was better than the pictures. We would book this place again.

Palm Beach on the Beach

Everything was clean, good pots and pans we cooked allot. We walked, enjoyed the sunset and sunrise walk to beach perfect. The upstairs twin beds were a bit hard to get to - the ceiling is low and people can not be too tall or over weight it is meant for children or adults not over weight or over 5'7''. Good mattresses!

Relaxing & Rejuvenating Seaside Getaway!

We had a fantastic stay at this beachfront home! The breathtaking ocean views, comfortable accommodations, and the soothing sound of waves made it a truly memorable experience. The host was incredibly hospitable, and the property's proximity to the beach made it a perfect retreat. The loft does not have exceptionally tall ceilings, but our teenager did not mind a retreat that was all his own and there were lots of amazing caution signs! The pizza pans and air bake oven capabilities help you make amazing pizza! A plethora of coffee cups and an option for a Keurig, or a brewed coffee pot started our day off right every day! Also I am not sure where the deck furniture came from but the high chairs help you avoid the railing and are exceptionally and surprisingly comfortable… to top it off there are thick cushions for every chair. I highly recommend this home for a relaxing and rejuvenating seaside getaway.

Amazing Views

The views and easy beach access are the best parts of this property. We visited the beach multiple times a day and were able to take breaks during the hottest parts of the day by walking back to the house. Communication with the host was excellent. He was so kind and was available to answer any questions we had and even sent over a maintenance worker to repair a clogged sink during our stay. The accommodations are ok. The house was mostly clean upon our arrival, except for sand on the floors. It's a beach house, so I understand that it's challenging to keep the floors clean. I just didn't enjoy having sand on my feet for our whole stay. The other issue was bugs. Again, I understand that it's a beach house, and it's hard to keep all the insects out, but having ants crawling all over our laundry was kind of gross. We later found ants in our car as we were driving home. I also saw tiny spiders on the kitchen counters while I was cooking, despite trying to keep a tidy kitchen during our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our vacation and stay, but I would probably not stay at this house again.

Wonderful location for a beach vacation

Loved our stay!

We had a great time visiting Galveston and enjoyed our stay at this property. It is quite literally "on the beach", with a great patio and exceptional view. It's about 15-20 minutes away from the main part of the island, so you are able to get out of the busiest areas and have a more relaxing place to stay with a more private beach to enjoy.

Location is amazing!

We had a great time staying here. You are steps from the beach with an unobstructed view from the house. I loved sitting on the huge deck listening to the waves. Paul is great to work with.
