One of the condos within the Prestigious Seascape Condo, this home is situated on the second floor and just upstairs from the sandy beach below! Seascape Condos is across the street from Seahorse Grille and at the western end of Galveston Island's renowned Seawall with easy beach access on site, and just a few miles from the East End Lagoon Nature Preserve Park, Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens pyramids and the Historic Strand District. This condo is right next to the ocean, overlooking the pool and Gulf of Mexico. To enjoy the fantastic views, all you need to do is walk outside onto your private balcony where you can sit on the patio furniture, relax, and marvel at the scenery. A miserable experience, wiry her basically crawling up the stairs. We tried contacting the property manager, but she was completely absent. The AC was great, balcony had a pretty view, bunks were a hit. My mother slept on bottom bunk and she said it was comfortable. The master bedroom bed was not terrible. Cons, communication was poor. We emailed several times leading up to our trip and got no response. Check in process was ok, however in email it said check in at 3 and when we got there we were told it was ready, but after going up to the room it was in the process of being cleaned which then we had to wait. Be prepared for the pool police. You cannot do Anything in the pool except literally sit in the water. No balls, no jumping, children can’t horseplay etc. Overall we had a good stay, but we do prefer to book through an individual instead of a company. ##### Michael B. We stayed at this location 2 years ago but a different unit and we love the location but it seems like they might be letting things go on the entire property especially the unit we stayed in. To start we walked in the unit and immediately noticed the bed in the bedroom was broke. It leaned down at the end and in the middle.The sliding mirror doors in the closet were broke and off the track.The dresser in the closet looked so beat up. Also hard to open The walls inside the unit were beat up. Large white spots just beat up and missing paint. The shower tile looks dirty and the shower head is so low Iv never been to a shower where I am staring at the shower head and I’m 5ft 10inch so not that tall.The kitchen was ok except the major hazard that someone can definitely hurt themselves on. The mirror is cracked and that piece could fall off at any time. The blinds in the back door broke not attached to the door.The couch was absolutely disgusting. It looked so dirty it was horrible it looked very stained and dirty and felt disgusting.Now about the property. Seems ok not too many complaints but there are some. The rusty railings on the stairs is so bad you can tell they have not been kept up on. Also the cracking on the ceiling where you park kinda worried if the structure integrity is strong. Unit was clean and comfortable. The resort is starting to show some wear, as well as the units, and could use a facelift. The balcony furniture did not provide a good outdoor experience.
