As of Nov 2023, the pool is heated to a comfortable 85-90 degrees from November to March.

Totally remodeled 5 bedroom/3 bathrooms, sleeps 12 in beds and 2 on a brand new queen size sofa couch. Three bedrooms are upstairs. 1 King size master on-suite, with cable TV. One bedroom with a queen-size bed with a full bathroom. Also a bedroom with 2 full-size bunk beds with gaming TV. Then downstairs, we have a bedroom with 2 queen beds and another bedroom with a queen-size bed, and a full-size bathroom. The living room has a sectional sofa, with additional chairs for plenty of seating. A 60" Smart HDTV. Great location! Only 4.5 blocks from the seawall and 1 mile from the strand. Beautiful heated pool for relaxing after a day at the beach. Please understand this pool is only 5 feet deep and it is NOT for diving and is heated from November to March to about 85 degrees. There is plenty of deck space that is covered along with a ceiling fan for your comfort. A gas grill for your cooking pleasure and an outdoor table and chairs.

For events, we do not allow more than 20 guests at the home, including the 14 who may stay overnight.

Possible fees each will be charged at the time of booking or just after.
Nightly rental fee
State and City Hotel Taxes of 15% Total. HomeAway collects the taxes
A cleaning fee of $200 for your stay
A non-refundable pet fee of $75 for the first pet, $100 for 2. IF you bring a pet, and we have a 2 pet maximum. Just select the Pet option when booking for 1 pet,
otherwise please let us know and we can invoice you for your other pet.
A VRBO service fee. This is a percentage of your rental fee set by HomeAway
and this fee goes directly to VRBO.
Guests purchase when booking an insurance policy for $79 that covers any damages.

Please note, on certain days the pool company will come into the driveway gate to service the pool. It is usually in the morning about 9 am. Also, housekeeping could show up at 10 am on departure days, especially if another guest is checking that afternoon.

PLEASE clean the grill after each use, this helps the next guest and housekeeping, enjoy the grill when they arrive. Let Richard know if a propane bottle is empty.

To decrease litter on the beach and protect marine life, the City of Galveston has implemented a City Ordinance (No 19-017 Secs 8-27) that states all items left on the beach after sunset will be discarded. The Galveston Park Board strictly enforces the ordinance.

You must be 25 years of age to rent our home.

Out of respect for our neighbors, we cannot allow large gatherings at the home. No Prom or Graduation parties. If you are thinking of having a gathering at the house, please ask the owners before booking. No DJ's for music

During hurricane season, June to Nov, no refunds are offered for a stay unless a category 1 or higher named hurricane is headed at Galveston.
