The waterfront promenade offers lovely views and is great for an evening stroll.Couples will find the Old Town particularly appealing. It offers a romantic setting with its historic charm, excellent dining options, and easy access to cultural sites like the Galvana Castle and the Municipal Museum. The evenings here are pleasant, with many establishments offering outdoor seating overlooking the marina. For families, the area just east of the Old Town, closer to Praia da Galvana (Galvana Beach), is an excellent choice. This neighbourhood provides easier access to the main sandy beach, which is ideal for children, and often features hotels with swimming pools and more spacious rooms.
