A loveley warm welcome

A Lovely welcoming home from home, I booked for my dad who is elderly and travelling alone, He enjoyed his stay and will definetly be visiting again. Lovely staff.

Comfortable Hotel with Restaurant /Good Food

This Hotel was a good place to stop over, handy for Blyton Park, and reasonably priced. We didn't have to go looking for somewhere to eat as they had there own restaurant on site offering good food - again at reasonable Prices.

Warm and comfortable hotel..

My wife and I stayed for a 3 night midweek break.. Most welcoming proprietors for whom nothing was too much trouble. Dined at the hotel on each night and enjoyed first class cuisine. An excellent character hotel which we would recommend without hesitation.

Great host

Room was slightly dated and a small bathroom, also dated. But very clean. The host is so friendly, bubbly and full of energy, will put a huge smile on you face. The food was absolutely outstanding! I will definitely stay again next time I'm in town.

Hickman Hotel

There was a wedding reception in the hotel on saturday evening so it meant that we could not eat in hotel and had to go out to eat which meant more expense
