Perfect weekend getaway

"Although the weather was not the greatest we made the best of our stay. The location was perfect, quiet and private. Beautiful views and calm waters. The house was clean and comfortable. We felt like we were at home. Can’t wait to book again! "

Lovell Lake Rustic Camp w/200' Private Waterfront

Needs some TLC and not as advertised

"I was disappointed when we pulled up as the 200 feet of sandy beach front did not exist. I discussed with the owner several times and was assured there was a sandy beach there. The area to get to the water is treacherous and was no sand to put a beach chair on. There were chunks of rodent poison left out in the open that my dog ate. Luckily we were able to induce vomiting and he was okay. But how is this pet and child friendly. Also there was a too away bed that was infested with rodent poop and had to be thrown in the dumpster as I alerted the owner. There are still holes in the screen on the porch that were mentioned in 2023 that I assumed would be fixed by now but we’re not letting all the bugs into the house. there was "

Not what were led to expect

"The ad said the camper was nearly new, which it was not. We had a time to meet Jake, but he came and left early so we didn't get an intro. It was okay cleanliness wise, except the refrigerator was gross, and the shower curtain had dead bugs wrapped up in it. The cabinets were all very full, so we didn't have any place to put our food without moving stuff around. Then we had ants. The bed was very comfortable. We slept great. This is what we wanted it for, so wasn't disappointed in that. We used the camper for a family reunion, not a campground, and didn't want a "rustic, campy" experience. If we'd known just how small it was, and how far from nearly new it was, we might not have chosen it. However, it was still the best option for us. Overall, I would recommend it again. Just know what you are getting. And make sure that Jake has it all cleaned before you accept it."
