The property has an excellent view of Mt. Fuji when it's a clear day. They've thought of everything to make sure you enjoy your balcony view, from providing clean outdoor blankets and outdoor heaters to appropriate seating. The bars have wonderful vibes. There are some public balconies that can be used, the furniture is worn, so overall the public outdoor balconies to enjoy Mt. Fuji could be cleaned up and improved to further provide usable public spaces and options for guests.

Perfect stay
We had the most perfect time at this hotel! We stayed in a room with a large balcony and it had everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed the hotel bars, had breakfast there and then reception staff helped us order takeaway to the room. The little touches like the chocolate and blankets and heater in the room really made our stay special!

Amazing view from our room which was spacious with a balcony. The view was just as expected and why I chose this hotel. Location is a bit of a walk from the train station with the hotel being at the top of a steep slope, but they offer free transportation between the hotel and the station. When you get to the station ask at the tourist information. From the hotel I believe it leaves every half hour from 9am till 11am. The restaurant looked amazing and I was excited to eat there, however they said you had to book and we weren't able to get a booking while we were there! So disappointing. They did recommend a restaurant near by and that was lovely. The rooftop bar was closed which was disappointing, it would have been nice to know in advance. The osen in the hotel was really lovely and definitely worth visiting on your stay. A good size and with a view. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

Loved everything about the hotel. I’ve stayed in many lovely hotels around the world but staying at Mizno is MOST memorable for me. I will definitely tell all my friends about Mizno and come back again. I should have done my homework better, I would have known that I could get a shuttle transfer from the train station to the hotel.

The hotel mini bus collected us from the bus station with very minimal effort from us required. Short drive to the hotel. Staff went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. Fantastic views of Mt Fuji with the lake from the hotel and very easy walk around the lake from the hotel. Lovely onsen experience overlooking Mt Fuji (whilst a bit daunting!) The food was a bit adventurous for us but well presented and the staff were lovely.

Amazing view of Fuji. Room was comfortable and traditional though a little small. Great base to explore Kawaguchiko for a day or two. Pleasant bar for a drink at the end of a long day.

Great property! Wonderful onsen, food and staff! The one small issue we would have was the private onsen did not have shampoo, body wash, etc. small things. The place is wonderful with fantastic views of Mt Fugi!

This hotel is beautifully decorated with a unique upscale library atmosphere in the lobby and bar area. The rooms are spacious and offer stunning views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko. They offer a shuttle service to and from Kawaguchiko Station which was a nice added bonus. Upon arrival we were greeted by staff who helped carry out bags in and during checkin they served us delicious yuzu lemon tea, classy touch in my opinion. This property offers public onsens free with your stay(tattoos allowed!) but we opted for the private onsen instead. A bit pricey at 5500 yen for 45 mins but the views were just so gorgeous from this outdoor rooftop onsen that it’s worth it! All together a wonderful experience. Thank you Mizno Hotel!

I wish the parking was free or included in the price of the hotel stay, but not far at all. I really enjoyed the washer/dryer in the room. I loved the painting on the wall. Nice art! Front desk was very kind and accomodating! Thank you

From the beginning the staff was great! They greeted us at the parking lot and quickly had us checked in. The breakfast was awesome too. Beautiful view of the lake and Mount Fuji from our room and restaurant. Spacious and very comfortable beds too. Definitely going back.

When you staying Mizno Hotel can see the Mt.Fuji everyday and quiet environment, hotel have euro style decoration. The room comfortable and clear.

Everything was good, but it was not on the main road which made it a bit inconvenient. Hotel provides shuttle in the morning to the train station and for afternoon check-ins, so it was still ok.

Beautiful view of Mt. Fuji across the lake. Hotel is nested at a quiet spot on top of a hill. We had an awesome view of the mountain from our room.

Mizno hotel was top notch all around. Food was especially delicious. We did not even want to leave the hotel! So relaxing. The private hot tub was spectacular. We will definitely visit again! A solid 10/10.

staff very welcoming and friendly. greeted by elegant lady in beautiful kimono Couldnt do enough to make our stay a pleasure - suggesting restaurants, taking us there and back Loved the onsen and bedroom with Mt fuji view and saw it! room service when i was ill was most kind. Expensive drinks and big screen OTT would have been pleasant to have heard the piano being played in the evenings or some form of entertainment as out of town and shuttle timings restricted ,though grateful of its service. Excellent food though the american breakfast became monotinous! Christmas had come early there and songs still ring in my head! Thankyou for making it a memorable closing of our holiday inspired by the Japanese culture, ther residents kindness and calmness no litter, eating outdoors and talking on mobile phones which we suffer from in the UK - Arigato!
