Friends of the Library Used Bookstore

First time stay. The property is newly renovated in the old Santa Barbara Spanish style, Our room was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed coffee and a bite to eat for breakfast. We loved the yoghurt with chia seeds and blueberries. The espresso was delicious. The server was fun to talk to and made our experience memorable. High class, high quality. Dog friendly.

The floors were so dirty. We couldn’t go from bathroom to bedroom without our socks turning black. Was expecting a clean out the following day but they never showed up, called front office to schedule the cleaning for day 3. As you can imagine, we had gone through so many socks and wipes from just cleaning our feet. We also had issues with locking back door. Thankfully they replaced the lock. I don’t think I’ll book again as there as so many other options nearby.
