During your stay, you'll have the opportunity to discover the must-see sites for which the town is famous, such as : \- Fréjus beach, 20 metres walk away; \- Fréjus Casino 7 minutes away; \- La Digue de Port Fréjus 10 minutes away; \- The Old Port of Saint-Raphaël 15 minutes away, and much more. We look forward to welcoming you! \## Emplacement Fréjus has preserved numerous monuments from its past. In fact, with 2,000 years of history, this Var town of Art and History boasts a significant historical and architectural heritage. The Roman remains are the oldest traces of its past, and include an amphitheater, a theater and an aqueduct, of which a few pillars and arcades remain. Dating back to the end of the 1st century, the arenas could accommodate nearly 12,000 spectators who came to watch gladiatorial combat! In the old town, the Fréjus Episcopal Group, built between the 5th and 16th centuries, is also part of this remarkable heritage. It brings together the beautiful Saint-Léonce cathedral, with its Romanesque bell tower and two naves linked by several arcades. But also the octagonal baptistery dating from the 5th century, one of the oldest in France, the episcopal palace transformed into the town hall, as well as the Romanesque cloister, whose wooden ceiling has been decorated with real or imaginary characters and animals. Adjacent to the cloister is the Archaeological Museum, home to magnificent antique sculptures excavated in the Roman town. \## Transports From Fréjus train station: 6 minutes by car.
