We loved staying here! Nestled in rolling farmland, quiet and peaceful, the tiny cabin was just what we needed for a short respite. We will plan to stay here the next time we are in Athens!
Clean and beautiful location within a close drive to Ohio University. Uber is available from here. Owner was very responsive to questions. Beautiful view and enjoyed using the fire pit. Would stay again!

We enjoyed a great few days away in this tiny home. The location is great, nice and quiet, but close enough to everything we wanted. Host was very responsive and provides many things to help make your trip cozy. Would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back! We loved Fred!
My daughter and I stayed for her orientation at Ohio University. The tiny home was super clean and cute. The house was close to campus and had everything you need. We unfortunately didn’t have much time to spend at the house so we are definitely hoping to stay again soon!
We rented three cabins for our family trip. All three were unique and perfect for each couple to have space or gather. Loved listening to the frogs over at the pond and deer was always close!
Our stay was perfect. The house was clean and had all the things we need during our. week long stay. It was a great place to come back to after a long day of watching baseball and hiking.
This little tiny house was just perfect. It was adorable, very clean, and had everything we needed. Located in such a quiet, beautiful area. We were up visiting my daughter at Ohio University and this little place beats a hotel any day. We will be back for sure!
This was the 2nd time staying here and I absolutely love Fred! It's a cozy place and I really enjoy the quiet nature around the house. I even met a couple of the area doggies.
Our stay at Fred was very cozy! Unfortunately, the hot water heater is very small so we did run into the issue of running out of hot water- so keep your showers short!
It was fantastic. This is my third time staying with this host, but this time I brought my family. We had a great time, and my wife was as impressed with the accommodations as I have always been. You won't be disappointed.
We were quite impressed with our first stay in a tiny home! It was well supplied with what we needed, which, for the most part, was sleeping hours. If we were to make a few suggestions for comfort, we would recommend having a night stand on each side of the bed, and more hooks and shelving for storage, particularly in the bathroom. Also, hooks by the front door for coats, etc., would be a nice addition. We very much enjoyed our stay. We will be coming back. Thank you for your hospitality!
This Tiny home is everything you will need while away from home! Why stay in a hotel when you could have your own tiny home! We loved everything about this tiny home! Privately located in the country. Clean, cozy and welcoming! We came for hiking and kayaking. Coming back to the tiny home after our daily adventure was so peaceful and relaxing! Love that we could have a bonfire at night! Perfect place for two! Book it! You won’t regret it!
This tiny house was clean, well stocked and had all the amenities you need. It’s in a beautiful and quiet area, not far from Athens. The only thing I didn’t like is there is no air unit in the bedroom, only the living room. For some, that may not be an issue, but as someone who can only sleep when the room is very cool, this was a problem. A fan that was in the house did help, but it would be optimal for the house to have a smaller air unit in the bedroom.
The property is clean and well-maintained inside and out and comfortable. I was a little surprised there wasn’t a small dishwasher as those seem pretty standard at the places I’ve stayed recently and give peace of mind that everything is sanitary instead of putting your faith in the previous guest. Not even a complaint, just an observation. Similarly, the television is almost comically small for the space. It didn’t bother us at all but maybe would be important to some.
If I could improve one area it would be some sturdier furniture and additional surfaces. The nightstand was pretty wobbly, and a dresser or other surface to put things like watches and phones on would be appreciated. Same thing in the bathroom. Greatly appreciated the hooks but with such a tiny area around the sink I would have really liked a small stand to hold contact supplies and the like.
