Tämä on hotelli, jossa ei juuri ole henkilökuntaa eikä jatkuvaa päivystystä. Homma toimii, paikka yksinkertainen ja ikääntynyt. Huone siisti, kylpyhuone pieni. Aamiainen hyvä. Hinta kohdallaan.

Rheingauer Tor - quiet little place - small town

Our family stayed here a couple of nights during our European vacation recently. Nice enough place, front desk only staffed during the morning hours. Otherwise had to dial from house phone to reach someone. WiFi was a little difficult to get, and 3 euro per day. rooms were clean though, and there was some parking available in rear lot.

Kleines, feines Hotel in einer kleinen und feinen

Wir hatten eigentlich ein Hotel in Wiesbaden gebucht. Wegen laufender Sanierungen und defekter Klimaanlage dort hatten wir uns schnelle ein anderes, preiswertes Hotel suchen müssen. Die Wahl fiel auf das Hotel Rheingaues Tor, was uns in seiner Ausstattung und Lage nicht enttäuschen sollte. Wer keine übermäßigen Ansprüche an den Komfort stellt, ist dort gut aufgehoben. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Bilden på hotels.se visar ett fint korsvirkeshus men i verkligheten är det ett helt vanligt, ganska tråkigt hus direkt vid gatan. Låst ytterdörr öppnas när vi ringer på, Ingen personal i receptionen, får svara i en telefon och får opersonlig information. Ser inte någon personal på hela dagen, först till frukost dagen därpå. Väldigt opersonligt och dyrt.

The main complaint was the very squeaky and somewhat uncomfortable bed. The hotel being old and a little worn out was not a problem, it was actually quite nicely retro in its own way.

unauffälliges Hotel

Anmeldung per Telefon, da kein Mensch vor Ort. Dunkle Beleuchtung überall. Zimmer wirkt wie aus den 70ern. Viele Flecken im Teppichboden und sogar am Stehlampenschirm WLAN sehr lahm Bettmatratzen sehr hart, Kissen dafür klein und zu dünn. Zu wenig Steckdosen im Zimmer. Frühstücksmilch sauer!

Hotel in einem Weinort.

Das Hotel ist durch die S-Bahn-Anbindung gut geeignet für einen Besuch in Frankfurt / Main. Dies war unser Anliegen. Das Zimmer und auch das Frühstücksbüfett sind einwandfrei. Allerdings ist die Sanitärkabine viel zu klein.

Nice little hotel 1/2 hour form Frankfurt

a small charming hotel but no reception service after 20:00 so if you need anything specific on arrival after this time it might be difficult. For me there was only one very thin pillow which lead to an uncomfortable night. Great friendly atmosphere and charming town and good value for money.

Bra hotell, men inte när det är varmt

Ett helt OK hotell, men om det är väldigt varmt så fanns ingen lättnad att få, t.ex. luftkonditionering eller fläktar. När vi besökte hotellet var det 39 grader varmt. Bra frukost, bra parkering och hyfsat lätt att hitta även om det är lite smågator att köra. Begränsat med restauranger i hotellets omedelbara närhet. Lite krångel innan vi fick tillgång till wi-fi, men i slutändan löste det sig. Receptionen är obemannad under långa tider, men det gick ändå att kommunicera med personalen via telefon.

Nice hotel right in the middle of a residential area. VERY difficult to find for us. Went to a great restaurant just one block down the street. Loved it!

Trop cher pour la prestation.

Arrivée un samedi en fin d'après-midi. La photo sur le site est celle d'une maison de la ville, mais elle n'a rien à voir avec l'hôtel dont l'entrée est bien quelconque. Pas de personnel à l'accueil, mais les clés étaient disponibles sur le comptoir et les informations données par téléphone. Chambre vieillotte, salle de bain de type cabine, propre mais exiguë , plus que celle d'un hôtel premier prix. Petit déjeuner très quelconque. Quartier très calme, et stationnement dans la rue aisé. Cher pour la prestation proposée.

I overpaid because I was looking for a hotel last-minute. Not worth what I paid, but usual rate appears to be about half that, so would be better for normal price.Free on-site limited parking. 6 euro breafast for ham, cheese, bread, coffee. Hochheim is cute little town, decently close to Wiesbaden.

Gemütliches Hotel

Wir hatten ein Zimmer für drei Personen gebucht. Die Rezeption war nicht besetzt, aber unser Zimmerschlüssel lag bereits für uns auf den Tresen und nach einer kurzen telefonischen Einführung liefen wir zu unserem Zimmer, das im Nebengebäude untergebracht war. Das Zimmer selbst ist von der Größe her mehr als ordentlich, das Bad etwas klein, aber dennoch ausreichend. Von der Sauberkeit her gab es nicht zu meckern und auch der Fernseher ist groß und mit vielen Programmen ausgestattet. WLAN funktionierte auch einwandfrei, allerdings hatten wir zu dritt nur einen Zugang - es konnte also immer nur einer mit seinem Smartphone ins Internet, die anderen mussten warten. Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, da es sehr ruhig ist und man immer einen Parkplatz findet. Von daher können wir das Hotel definitiv empfehlen.

Nobody at the reception and loud

The hotel was ok, but there was nobody at the reception. We had to pick up our own keys, and the couple of times we needed something from reception (to get the WiFi passcode) it felt like we were inconveniencing somebody at their own house. ALSO.... the hotel is in the flightpath to Frankfurt Airport - great for plane spotters, but not so great if you want to sleep past 5:00 am.
