"This is a really beautiful place! You feel like you're in the country and yet only about 15 minutes or so drive to Santiago de Compostela. But the best part was how gracious, friendly, and helpful our hosts, Julia and Julio were! Just a precaution if you have a mid to large size car, parking is really tight, but driving around the area, that seems to be the norm so definitely don't let that deter you from staying at this beautiful place!"

Ames

"The place is way beyond our expectations. It truly has notable character and somewhere I would prefer to “gate-keep” from others by not leaving a review to tell others about how much we enjoyed it. However, I had to leave a review because Susana and the staff at this property were above and beyond. The property is extremely clean and well-maintained, plus it is very original and has great uniqueness. The area is peaceful and quiet, and promotes a great experience just outside of Santiago. Parador de Santiago de Compostela

10/10 Excellent

"The Paradore was exactly what the doctor ordered after the Camino Way. We spent a day and night in Santiago in order to take in the history of the city. The hotel is next to the Museum of the Sacred along with the Cathedral so location was ideal. When our schedule changed and we had to leave before experiencing the breakfast, the hotel packed us a wonderful nutritious packed breakfast we were able to eat at the airport. The bathroom provided a wonderful shower and bath tub. After walking all day, the shower was a luxury before climbing into a wonderful king bed with good back support. I will never forget my experience at the Paradores."

Eurostars Araguaney

10/10 Excellent

"I found this to be the best of the 3 Eurostars Hotels I stayed at during this visit to Spain ... reception staff Iago and his colleague were polite, professional and friendly ... my room was large, well appointed and comfortable and although old in style, it was very attractive, having been beautifully maintained and it was immaculately clean ... nice touches of sparkling wine in room upon arrival and chocolates on the pillow ... breakast choice was varied and of nice quality ... I would stay again and would confidently recommend this hotel 😃"

Hotel Praza Quintana

10/10 Excellent

"The room smelled like sewage possibly because it was in the basement, but other than this the room was immaculate and the shower was lovely. I wish the towel warmer worked. The staff were excellent, especilly Maria. She was very knowledgeable about Spain and Portugal since she used to be a flight attendant. We talked to her for a while."

Compostela Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"My husband and I spent one night there and really enjoyed this hotel. It’s very close to everything. We drove there and parking was easy as well. We found parking close by and if you are from the states, we found one very easy to get to and not undercount. I do recommend to drop off luggage in front of hotel before parking."

When is the best time to go to Francos?

The best time to go to Francos, Galicia, Spain, is generally from late spring to early autumn, specifically May, June, and September.
